Meeting point 1: Namco Station at 2pm

It was mentioned people wanted to meet up earlier, so we'll be meeting at the Namco Station.

Maybe, can not afford to stay overnight in London though so the train back will probably be around 11:30pm. Are you thinking of making this a daytime shindig or a piss-up?

To be fair, hardcore-GAF stayed out until the first trains were leaving from Kings Cross so you might not have to stay anywhere.
 
I'm in, looking forward to seeing some of the usual suspects from last time again. My suggestion is to meet up earlier this time so we can do something in the afternoon as well as in the evening. London weather is totally unpredictable, but perhaps meeting up in Hyde Park could be a good start.
 
I'll be at London Film and Comic Con during the day but I'll join you soon as I can in the evening.

You can stay at mine if you like, be nice to have another female there for the whole night! I have a spare room and don't bite :)

That would be brilliant of you! I'm a good houseguest, very quiet, tidy and I don't require much looking after! You are a star! *brofist*

I'll look into transport options etc over this weekend. My buddy's going to the con with her mum (who is so cool!) so I may be able to manage a lift with them. It looks pretty sweet.

p.s, as I'm not officially 'London-Gaf' I HOPE I'm still eligible for this event?!

It's honestly no problem at all, I'm used to people crashing at mine. And if I end up being part of hardcore-gaf again it'll be nice to have company on the night bus home! I'm sure anyone who came to the last meet-up can vouch that I'm no serial killer :)

You should come to the con too, it's gonna be so schweeeeet!

The 14th would be better for me. I checked my rota and I'm working nights on the 7th. I've got no problem booking a couple of days off, though.

fake edit: oh actually, I need to check, might be playing a gig but i THINK it's on the friday instead.
 
Please stick to the 7th as it sounds like almost all of those that showed last time can make that date. Whilst I do hope to see some new faces this time round, we all know that on the day of the meetup, people will be dropping like flies again.
 
Yeah the other dates are awkward, 14th is awful as I have to be "on-call" for work. 21st would have been alright as it's pay day, but I have a housewarming to go to!

BTW where in Wales are you holidaying Mush?

Plus if it's not the 7th you can't stay at mine cos I won't be there!

Gonna try and do the whole coast, start at the top and work our way down. I've never been to Angelsey or Snowdonia, shame on me! Should end up back at my Mum's in Pontypool for her birthday on the 20th.

Heh, BBQs mean "eat meat, then get absolutely pissed out of your head round someone's house".

It's in my diary, so if things change I will try to be there.

Also I was informed in the UK thread that this will be exactly 7 years after the London bombings.

Crazy.
 
I like the #7 ... So I think this is a MUST, based on that alone! Will probably aim to get in to Victoria (if on Coach) / Paddington (if on train) sometime around 3:00pm.

It would be nice to have a picnic or something during the day, but it literally depends on the weather. The evening will of course be filled with an insane amount of drinking, which is a must.
 
You guys on for a picnic at Hyde Park (or museum if it's raining) during the day? Perhaps about 2pm?

During the evening we could always grab a bite to eat and then drink the night away.
 
I'm up for that, the only problem with a picnic is that we'd need somewhere to meet up. At the last meet up people were turning up throughout the hour and half we where there.

Yup, I'm down for that. If you're looking for a meeting point, there's a cafe on one side of the lake that would suffice.
 
Shall we coordiante the meetup with when Evil Lore is around. I suggested this in the other thread, so all the GAF meetups can be with when the Neogaf boss is in town.
