Hey! I'm not sure if I can make the 15th due to gigging commitments but if I can make it I certainly will. Was way fun last time!

If you wanna stay a bit longer this time instead of shooting off early you're more than welcome to stay at mine. I have room for 3 or 4 and so far just Lirlond has booked a place :)

Yeah I may well do if I can make it. I just found out this morning that I'm playing a festival 'sometime' in September, so we'll see.

Also, what's the consensus in bringing partners/wives etc along? My missus was well jell of how good a time I had last time and intimated that she might like to come. I kinda told her no but I'm wondering what the groupthink says?

No reason why you can't invite her along man! :)

Anyone can feel to invite guests, since the more the merrier!

Sorry but I tend to disagree. Just my personal opinion but this is a Gaf meet up for Gaffers. If she wants to come along, just get her to sign up to Gaf!

But that's just me and I'll probably be overruled by everyone. I can just see everyone starting to bring partners/friends/whoever along and it won't really be a Gaf meet up anymore.

Y'see, that's what I told her. And I said that she would shame me deeply. If I'm being shamed, I'll damn well do it myself! :D

I don't know if I want her signing up to gaf, she'll probably become a brony or something...

That's understandable.

Also I'll get the thread up soon! I just have no idea where we'll go yet...

I suggest Reflex, London-Gaf has proved that we all like a good dance, and a good bit of cheese, so this would be perfect.

Reflex
17 Watling Street,
London,
EC4M 9BB
Nearest tubes Mansion House and St Pauls

Beforehand it would probably be a good idea to get some food. There's a Wetherspoons nearby

Green Man
1 Poultry
City of London
EC2R 8EJ
Or plenty of other places to eat.

That's just my suggestion. Feel free to shoot me down.

Why would you not be able to bring a partner along (not that I ever would)?

Why would you want to? It's nice to have a night out meeting new people without having to drag along your SO too. Also, no SO/non gaffer friend means no crutch so you have to be a tad more 'social' than you might otherwise be.

That would be my take anyway.

Is London Reflex better than Croydon Reflex because I only have horrible memories of that place? Then again I believe I have mentioned my opinions on clubs before. But I'm not a party pooper so I will go with the crowd and not be a misery guts.

I never would want to, as I said - I was just curious why it would be 'forbidden', and you've made some compelling arguments. That Reflex isn't as bad as the one in Croydon (where the average age seems to be 40 and the average weight double that) so I'm sure it would be fun. Of course, if you're in EC1 you could always go somewhere more hardcore! :p

I never would want to, as I said (I'm sure you're all lovely people, but "these are some folks I know online - we chat about Jeremy Hunt and this weird Scottish guy" is not something I can see myself saying anytime soon!) I laughed hard at this.

Hey Musha, No Namco visit?

I should probably have checked back on the thread after making that post haha. I'm going into my second year at Sheffile Uni, so not sure if that makes me apart of the real Sheffield GAF but yeah, I'm still here

We will consult with Sean Bean...

Reflex sounds a great shout.

It took some terrible music for us to get dancing in De Hemmes so I imagine Gaf would still the show in an 80's bar.
