I'm looking to get a new set of headphones.

I'm looknig for the best possible headphones in the <=$30 price range.

Suggesting anything > $30 will lead to nothing, as I don't have the money for them, and even if I did, I wouldn't get them.

GAF, your task is set. Find me headphones!

What style of headphone are you looking for? Cans, earbuds, etc...

doesn't really matter, I would imagine.

In the summer I'll be using them when I cut the grass, so they've got to be nice and loud.

Personally, I've always preferred earbuds. That said, I don't think you could do much better than Sony's Nude Ex ones. The following link has a review of them. (Ignore the price...you should be able to find them for cheaper than $30 now.)

Don't know how much they are...I think you should be able to find one of the Koss models for less than $30.

Think about ht mx400\500 they're good cheap earbuds (though fit might be a problem).

Yep have heard very good things about these but people find the Sporta-Pros ugly and KSC-35's are hard to find. The new model KSC-75's sound more KSC-35's than the KSC-50's. THe px100's are comparable to the KSC-35' so you could alway get those if you don't want a clip-on.

I would wager it's because of the type of clip more than anything else.

And AFAIK, the KSC-35s are still available direct from KOSS, though you'd never be able to find them in stores.

You're probably right anyway you really can't go wrong with any of those choices.
