Seems like a smart move. When those card packs / collectible things started to come out, people went absolutely bonkers. I remember selling a few of the rarer cards for a few bucks a piece. I bet the Steam customer pool would dig something like this.

Heck, offer Steam Premium for $5.99 a month. People would make the excuse.

Surprisingly the cards still sell... even of for only like $0.03. Not even sure why people buy them anymore.
