I can't wait, loved the first season.
Season 1 was enjoyable. It's one of those shows I didn't think was particularly good but I still kept watching every day. The production values were great and I liked how things picked up towards the end.
The only part I didn't like was the annoying cartoonish evil doctor. I didn't think she was memorable or interesting and she just came across as annoying. And with the whole planetary apocalypse and evil robots she felt unneeded as an additional threat.
The villain actress was very good even with the poor material she had, you are gonna hate that woman by the end of the season, mission accomplished i guess.
The actress does a good job on being an annoying cunt yes.I didn't hate her I just rolled my eyes every time she was on screen.
Expanse only got good for me in season 2....and The Expanse are the only sci-fi shows that hit the ground running immediately in S1.
Any sci-fi show worth two seconds of your time is a joke on S1. Sci-fi shows only really even start on S2.
Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse are the only sci-fi shows that hit the ground running immediately in S1.
Interesting. I too found S1 kind of boring so I stopped watching. But you’re saying S2 is actually good? What about S3 and S4?Expanse only got good for me in season 2.
S1 was too much lame ass wannabe scifi film noir bullshit for me.
S2 was amazing, though.
I'm missing out a lot on Netflix between this and Stranger Things S3.*First episode of season 2 is better than all of season 1 combined.
I generally can't stand race or gender swapping established characters but this is definitely one of those exceptions. She's a great Dr. Smith taking everything you love-hated about the original but even more manipulative. And for a middle-aged woman is rather easy on the eyes to boot.I’m sure Parker Posey is a nice person in real life, but she is way too good at playing this villain. The amount of actual malice I feel for this character, lol.
I’m a few episodes in, and the season is good so far. I love the first two episodes dealing with trying to escape from that crazy planet, and finding it’s secret. I’ll leave that for people to discover themselves.
I never watched the old shows or movies, but I like how we get really cool, heady sci-fi concepts, settings, planets, and stories in this seeming family show, because there isn’t much of that to be found at a quality, high-budget level anymore, and certainly not 16 hours of it.
Come to think of it, when was the last time a positive portrayal of a loving, supportive family was the focus of much of anything? So that’s pretty cool too.
