"The Greater Good"
After burying one of their own, tempers flare as the castaways' suspicions of each other grow -- and an unlikely survivor vows revenge. Meanwhile, Claire and Charlie struggle to calm her newborn.
Amen to that! It sure took them long enough to get us some new episodes. Now, we have four new ones in row leading up to the two hour finale!! Can't wait to see what they do for the season cliffhanger. You know it's going to be good, and then painful to wait through the Summer.
If only I could find a place to get the high quality episodes... my usual spot (http://www.tvtorrents.tv) is closed, and once you get used to those big fat 700mb episodes, going back to the 350 is kind of hard...
anyone got a link to the teaser for next week? or can summarize it for me?
cool episode, i thought that Sayid's story was more interesting than the main Island story though. I am glad Lost is back.
it was also cool to see how Sayid got on that particular flight. Does anyone have a list of what circumstances led to the survivors being on the flight?
Also (spoilers not relating to this episode or any past episode just some speculation/news I remember reading about...I dont think it is very spoilerish, but some might),
isnt a new main cast member supposed to be joining soon? Anyone know anything about that?
yeah, the boat, and who gets a ride on it, has been a conflict brewing for quite a while now.....Didnt Michael say it had room for like 3 people? Obviously Michael and Walt get two of the spots, but what about the other two main boat builders, Sun and Sawyer? And then there is the dog. I wonder if he counts as a passenger.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to the boat, hopefully they finish that up this season. I would suck if the last five minutes of the season finale was the boat taking off, and then we have to wait the whole break to find out it falls apart 10 feet out. or a shark attacks them.
I hope the monster comes back soon too. When was the last time it made an "appearance"? The last time I can think of was Boone's dream just before he became Locke's apprentice.
Wait, what blood are you talking about? Locke had a ton of blood from Boone on his shirt that he washed off. Other than that, any blood would have come from when the bullet grazed his temple.
This episode was more or less what you'd expect; getting small revelations and small reactions out of the way before we hit the brick wall that is the three-hour finale. Once we get through Kate's episode next week, we'll have a better idea just what to expect for the finale...hyped.
Shit, didnt realise the bullet actually grazed him.
What i thought was stupid though was the fact that shannon new exactly where the gun case was hidden. Here's someone who cannot do anything to save her life and she can locate a hidden gun case......IN THE POURING RAIN!

He's referring to the fact that the original French transmission was never actually heard by Locke, and we haven't actually SEEN Locke be told about it, as far as I can remember.
However, even if it wasn't shown, Boone is likely to have told him anyways.

That's also what I was thinking... On a related note, wasn't there discussion way back when it first happened about how it probably couldn't have been Locke that hit Sayid because he was somewhere else on the island at the time?

"Lost" Season Finale Details

Screw "American Idol", f**k the "Elvis" mini-series - the big event on May 25th is the two-hour "Lost" season finale. The week before on May 18th begins the first of a three episode story arc that caps off the first season of the mega ratings smash success. Today comes a closer look at what's in store - beware there are spoilers ahead.
On the 18th, "Exodus, Part I" sees the third appearance of the French woman - Rousseau - who shocks the survivors by showing up with a dire warning about "the others" (most likely the whispering voices we've heard twice now). Meanwhile, Michael and Jin ready the raft for sailing.
On the 25th, "Exodus, Parts II & III" has the castaways on the raft being surprised at sea by something unexpected. Meanwhile, the remaining islanders attempt to blow open the hatch, whilst Rosseau's visit to the encampment might be a threat to Claire's infant son.
Across all three the flashbacks will take us back to the time when the cast all boarded the ill-fated Flight 815. This allows not only the return of the recently deceased regular cast member, but the introduction of new ones including Michelle Rodriguez who joins the cast next season.
Executive producer J.J. Abrams said in an interview with About.Com this week, "One of the requirements of the finale I think was to answer some questions and keep others out there. Like with everything, thats the ambition and I believe weve succeeded but ultimately the fans are the judge."
One of the big questions that has been circulating is that "Lost" might adopt the no-repeat half-season schedule that has worked successfully for both "24" and Abrams' other much loved show "Alias". However that pattern looks unlikely at least for now - "It would require the network to hold the show back until January, which I dont think they would do because you cant make it fast enough to start in September and go all the way through."
I really hope they go the no-repeat route like 24 and Alias. It'll be torture waiting until Jan. 06 if they do, though. But the repeats and extended breaks make me crazy, so I think I'd rather wait and have the whole season in back to back episodes.
