Well that one can be easily explained as Jack being drugged up and seeing things. The REAL question to ask is "how did Michael see Christian on the freighter?" Not on the island.

Yeah, even with Jack being stoned and everything I'm pretty sure that they at least meant for it to be something more at the time, but I guess we'll see what happens in the next week. I think they'll bring it up especially since a lot of focus is on Jack right now.

I just assumed that you assumed that "Black-suit" :lol was the Man in Black, in which case it is still wrong. To then further assume that the possessor of this magic answer outline mistook one person for two would be too far even for a Lost fan.

Darlton said themselves that Jack & Claire would find out. Everyone did.

I don't get it. You mean people knew this in 2003?

So leaving out the fact this guy was an entire season off, what is so special about predicting that Michael would come back? Many people thought the same thing.

I wasn't around lost-gaf or in any lost community by that time so I really didn't know people were assuming he would be back.

If you're not John Locke: it's not a leak, it's fan fiction.

But I AM Jhon Locke.

Didn't that leak in 2007?

I don't think Darlton really handed over that many answers to anyone, the writing staff included. They don't typically break more than one season at a time with them...

It's clear that it's just bullshit. You throw enough shit at a wall and yeah, some of it will stick.

I remember reading that list back after the season 3 finale. I posted about it in the incident thread because I was freaking out that they rightly predicted Juliet's death.

But yeah, I think its mostly lucky shots that they got a few of them right. That whole "parents of the surivors are behind dharma" is like ripped straight out of heroes.

It is interesting though, that it assumes that Dharma would take a larger role in the rest of the series and the endgame.

Edit- About the Claire/Jack thing. We found out they were related in Season 3, so it would be crazy to think they would never find out about each other. I don't think that's a big deal.

The Juliet stuff and saying that Season 5 would consist of time travel, those are the big ones.

What are you talking about, "zero" hints that Claire and Jack were related? It was hinted at at the end of season 2 when Christian confronted a woman in Australia who sounded quite similar to Claire. People figured it out then, including me.

That outline is nonsense.

Keep in mind if you read that spoiler that the finale wasn't filmed in order at all. Because the spoiler details an actors wrap scene doesn't mean it'll be the last scene that they will appear in. It could be in the first 10 minutes!

What? How in the fuck is that a "MAJOR" spoiler? You realize that this is the series finale right? Get this: Every single character will have their last ever scene of LOST in the finale.

If that's a major spoiler to you, you might as well stay in the non-spoiler general threads.

There were SEVERAL descriptions of the set, and who was in the scene. That's major.

Not the Lilly filmed her last scene.

So, we've got some extremely vague and out of context descriptions of the set and a list of characters in a scene. Did anybody seriously NOT think that those characters would be in the finale? There is nothing shocking there at all. It's the definition of a minor spoiler.

I'd say the description is fairly minor, but that's going from a vague memory of intentionally skimming through it. From my memory, all I got out of it is that
at some point in the finale, Kate, Jack and Sawyer will be on a hillside in a storm.

Seemed like a
volcano
to me, so in that case, it IS kinda major.

Well, they said in the podcast this season that that would come into play again so I've been expecting it. Were they not just referring to
the safety of the crew on the crag they were scouting for? I read it as "We've found a great spot to shoot from, but it isn't ideal for safety".
Or am I forgetting a line that implies a you-know-what?

I guess that confirms that
Richard will be in the finale. Why else would he have gotten the script?
requoting this.

Despite what this episode showed, or rather didn't show,
Richard is definitely still around, hence why he got the script for the finale

and like I said in the other thread,
You didn't even see him take a killing blow. Even Lapidus got a kill shot

Didn't Zoe also comment on her pages in the finale? Maybe she's in the flash sideways?

She was full of shit, an probably just assumed the script for 16 was part 1 of the finale.

In that interview,
Richard
is talking about the script for 17/18, hence why some people get some parts of the script and some don't, etc.

At least I hope I'm right. :lol

"And according to one well-placed source, the finale, titled "The End," may not be the ultimate ending of the story. I’m hearing twenty additional minutes of story (not just deleted footage or an alternate ending) will be included in the season six DVD to be released August 24, along with what executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse say will be some pretty spectacular packaging show fans will be unable to resist."

Bye bye money :(

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

“It’s in production now,” confirms the source, who couldn’t yet confirm the actual running time of the new scenes. “Damon and Carlton wanted to offer fans answers to additional questions they couldn’t get to in the body of the final show.”

I don't know if this is just finale footage, it might be a mass of season 6 deleted scenes or maybe even answer scenes like the mobisodes shot just for the DVD's, since Damon said with regards to the Dharma drop "You'll get the answer to that, just maybe not in the actual show".

This might be how they answer questions that don't get directly answered in the show. They were saying how like Dharma Drops would get answered, but maybe not in Season 6. No one really knew what they meant by that.

Well, does that specifically apply to the finale? Could they be reffering to the season as a whole?

It'd be cool to get an even longer cut of the finale on the season set.

Or... they don't want to let him out cause he will realize his entire life was a TV show. Now THAT'LL PISS HIM OFF REAL BAD!

OK that I could actually go for. Best 4th wall break ever

Yeah, it sounds like the additional footage would be just mobisodes to explain some things that aren't really relevant to the main narrative anymore.

It can't be an extended cut of the finale, since they just asked ABC to give them more time so they could fit their whole story into the time slot.

Seems like it's being set up, with the airline finding his body and all.

But the airline didn't find his body. That was Desmond. =P

Also, some speculation about Richard's fate:
Nestor Carbonell has said on more than one occasion in interviews that he loved the finale script and is how happy with how the characters, including his, have their stories resolved. So I have to think that Richard is still alive, because I find it hard to believe that he thinks what we saw last night was a satisfying end to Richard.

Would be totally awesome. I remember reading set reports about scenes being shot that were exclusively for the DVD.

oh shit, that jives with a theory I had while watching WTDF as in a couple scenes the
wounds on Jack X's neck are also extending to the right side of his neck, I was thinking that at some point in the finale Jack will be hung/strangled probably by Flocke, and probably as some final sacrifice to save everything.

And now we see Flocke bundling up the rope from the well :O

Kinda hope I'm wrong.
