I'm halfway through the last page catching up, but you guys must have gotten a lot of mileage out of that Snake gif during MGS hahaha
Don't be shy, we love uneducated guesses, they are our lifeblood.Everyone else - Any suspicions on my part are based entirely on guesses at this point, and not educated ones at that, so they're not worth posting.
No. This is the easiest feigned contribution ever and people who make excuses based on their hidden couples chat are scummy. I thought that any townie would be in line with this thinking. Not to mention mafia probably wants to know who has the more active couples chats because those people probably have a lot to talk about e.g. night actions.
Slept in the middle o going through the thread, sorry
I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about this weird thing where some partners seem really in sync, whereas others don't. If you're town, telling the rest of us that you've been communicating on the PROCEEDINGS OF THE GAME doesn't reveal anything about any roles but helps gives us easy to access information
Is it just me, or are certain people acting very nice to Sophia?
Well, everyone is clamoring for more out of me, so here you go. I hope these are as unimpressive to you as they are for me.
1. [m] Kingkitty & [m] Hyperactivity - Kitty seems fine, Hyper seems scummy for some reason, but I have nothing to back that up. No read.
2. [m] Karkador & [m] Zippedpinhead - They are in it together, they are being reasonable over all, and Kark thinks thinks Blawl is suspicious like I do. Town.
3. [m] Timeaisis & [m] FluxWaveZ - 100% Town.
4. [m] LaunchPadMcQ & [m] Gorlak - Launch is quieter than normal, but his post contents are LMQ-y. Gorlak doesn't stand out. No read.
5. [m] Blargonaut & [m] Kawl_USC - Miller tracker is weird. Timing of the claim is weird. Blarg is weird. I don't like it. Neutral/Scum
6. [m] UltraJay & [m] Boo Boo'n - Honestly, neither of them really post all that much. I thought Boo Boo'n's analysis of Hyper/Kitty was pretty good, though. But it could be a "minimum to get by" kind of deal. No read.
7. [m] Coppanuva & [m] Flame_AC - They seem to vote an awful lot, as my lover pointed out. They like to prod and seem to be "fishing" for lynch candidates. Now this could be me just not liking this playstyle, but I get bad vibes from them. Slight scum?
8. [m] *Splinter & [m] Cabot - I guess they seem OK. No read.
9. [m] TL21xx & [m] Camjo-Z NEW - I've got almost nothing on these two. They don't seem that active. No read.
10. [m] MagnumBoy20xx & [m] batsnacks - Batsnacks is throwing ideas out to help town. I initially thought that was kind of scummy, but he's backed off of it lately. He seems OK to me now. Town.
11. [m] Rest & [m] Karu - I got nothing.
12. [m] Kyanrute NEW & [m] Retroid - Not really that active, but Kyan has posted some read lists. I guess that is good? No read.
13. [m] El Topo & [m] Miracle [m] Giant Panda - El Topo is claiming to be busy, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Also, I actually like this post. I kind of feel the same way. Town, for now.
14. [m] NeverForever & [m] CzarTim - Never Forever makes sense, even though I don't agree with his "everyone needs to vote" stance. Town.
15. [f] Sophia & [m] Ty4on - Sophia seems calm and logical. Ty4on seems fine. Town.
Which brings me to this list:
No votes:
Timeaisis
Boo Boo'n
Coppanuva
TL21xx
MagnumBoy20xx
Karu
Kyanrute
Retroid
El Topo
rest(replaced)
33% of the game are not voting. I guess you all like to jump in here the last minute and choose your bandwaggon target hoping nobody will question your behaviour?
Is El Topo even playing? Stalling since beginning, the replacement of his partner has put a vote down faster than him. This is frustrating.
I just want to answer one of Flux's points about my partner and I about how we're forceful for a lynch. From all the games I've played, a day 1 lynch is almost always worth it barring some horrific luck for the town. A Day 1 Lynch forces people to commit to their actions and for everyone to at least make their opinion known. A no lynch lets people hide or coast by without saying much and we end up with a similar day 2. In all the games on GAF I've played, Day 1 Lynch has been consensus and always understood to be beneficial. This is why I was making sure that this town was for it as well, especially the players who I haven't played with before and don't know their opinions.
No, I've been waiting for the voting situation to actually stabilize a bit before I drop it. I want you to question it. Why else would I be putting my neck on the line?
Can people remind me why TimeFlux are heading for death right now?
What's wrong with waiting until D2 where they can attempt to prove themselves?
Both claims aren't so bad that they deserve a D1 lynch. This is very strange.
VOTE: Sophia
Frankly, I dont believe that anyone is above suspicion, but Kark has made a good point - even I have been blind to this player up until now. Why havent we put suspicion down on her yet? Shes been acting innocently, providing in depth posts. However, for a person as inexperienced in mafia as I suspect she is, they seem very in-depth and as though she is putting a lot of effort into them. Im going to dip a foot into meta territory and say shes doing so because shes got a role worth playing diligently for.
Plus, Ty4on is pretty weird, too. Hes been answering questions selectively. He has also, even more than some of you, acting like hes above suspicion.
Are people saying that? Because I'm getting the feeling that the two who are the most insistent on "bad play / policy vote / will be dead soon" sentiment towards me are the TL21xx and Camjo-Z duo.
You were leading the votes on the last tally, son.
Hell yeah, but I'm not sure that means everyone who had the vote necessarily felt as strongly about it as the others. There's El Topo, too.
Maybe but there's less than a day left and you're leading, seems worth bringing up.
I don't like this reason, Sophia has been involved in sorta 2 (1 of which I was in a team with her and I tried to give as much information as possible to her and Dave) games so she has a reasonable idea of what to expect, and she is paired up with a decent vet in Ty.
Two solid reasons explaining why she's posting well that contradict the inexperienced angle.
You think there's scum there? enough for a day 1 lynch ahead of people that are barely contributing?
No useful PRs flipping. That's a successful D1. Scum is a bonus. Townie is what you expect.
Is it just me, or are certain people acting very nice to Sophia?
VOTE: LaunchPadMcQ
No, Launch
This is a pre-emptive defence in case anyone finds your following posts suspicious. How can you expect me to believe you are town if this is where your priorities lie?
Although I was mostly voting for dramatic effect. Flux ruined it by explaining his vote.
VOTE: Kyanrute
I know kyan gave reads since I last voted, and they were fine, but I still want to hear from Retroid.
I'd be more concerned about this closer to deadline. "Pressure" and stale votes are fine(ish), but anyone seriously pushing a Tux lynch is indeed playing strangely. Can people remind me why TimeFlux are heading for death right now?
What's wrong with waiting until D2 where they can attempt to prove themselves?
Both claims aren't so bad that they deserve a D1 lynch. This is very strange.
Ok, strike all that then, if it fancies you. I'm just bothered.
damn launch FF has destroyed you.

Following that there was this vote from Blarg, also on Launch. This is less unusual coming from Blarg, although I still don't like the lack of an explanation. I immediately followed it up by asking for more of an opinion on it, because he had called voting for Launch before a vote trap, to which he replied "It was sprung". I'm curious as to what he meant by a vote trap. Did he mean that voting for launch is a vote trap?
*snip*
That was meant to be snarkier than it might have read
probably some italics. Italics are always good for snark.
I suspected you would disagree, but I shared my take, and here we are.
A couple of fools.
Never Forever said that "Sophia is trying to win Miss Congeniality" I'm treating this as a negative comment unless he says otherwise.
Even if you take out her inexperience as a factor, she is probably the least standoffish player in the game by a mile. She's eager to post opinions, reads, strategies. She's on top of everything. It's weird to me.
@Sophia
My Launch vote/unvote and subsequent explanation may have been misleading, so I'll clarify. The vote itself was not a joke (I am still suspicious of Gorpad, and was strongly so at the time), only the lack of explanation and obvious sheeping of Flux's vote (which also lacked explanation when I went to make my vote).
The point to all this was to make the statement that I saw Launch's post as so shitty that an otherwise strange barrage of unexplained votes could become an ordinary, even expected, response.
"However", I had already decided that my final vote would be unlikely to rest on Gorpad. Since my statement had been made/ruined already, there was no reason to linger and I returned to whatever line of inquiry I had been pursuing previously.
Why didn't I explain all of this at the time? I prefer to leave things a little cryptic, in most cases purely for my own amusement. Sorry not sorry.
Are people saying that? Because I'm getting the feeling that the two who are the most insistent on "bad play / policy vote / will be dead soon" sentiment towards me are the TL21xx and Camjo-Z duo.
xYeah, see this shit?
Fuck you too
I don't do policy votes (except noavis... fuck noavis), and your bad play is why I think you'll be dead soon. Rest assured, I don't care if you get lynched or not today.
I mean, what struck me as odd is how many people are saying she's providing all this 'deep' insight (which is utter puff), and CzarTim going as far as to console her for being nervous to comment.
Sophia, I sincerely welcome you to the game as much as anyone (except Sorian), but D1 is hardly the time for these butterflies to waft so gently in the breeze around you.

You know, this is exactly what happened in Werewolf 1. You thought that I trusted you for some reason, and that I was trying to get on your good side or something by seemingly going along with your opinions. I would never, ever do that. Even as a Wolf in Werewolf 2 I didn't do that and oftentimes argued in the thread against my partners. Even in this game, I'm distancing myself from my partner.
Yet, for some reason, you think that I've "avoided calling you out on stuff." What exactly would I have to call you out on? You're like CrimsonFist in Heist: with seemingly high activity but assuming the subtle role of a crowd-pleaser that makes it so it's not really apparent if there's even anything to call out.
Like I said on this page, I don't trust you. You were one of my Null reads leaning scum. But knowing my own alignment, knowing how how this scenario is exactly the same as in WW1 when you were a Wolf and I was the center of D1 discussion, how CrimsonFist played in Heist, and now with your recent comment, I'm convinced.
You're Loveless.
