My guess is that it wouldn't count because of the nature of the effect. They target at night, and then the effect takes place the following day&night.
To me, that suggests that their criteria was technically met if the player is alive and chat blocked.
If death didn't affect it, they would basically be guaranteed to meet their win in four nights, which is silly (save for the one role we know of that would have slowed them down one night).

If there is a switcher out there, you have to realize that if you posted your list we could likely solve this whole game.

I'd like to add that I didn't vote them because of Dusk Soldier, and he came up again a couple days later for the same reason. He made stupid reads on both days when I voted him, specifically with Zipped and Kark.
Is that why you targeted Blawl?
I'm pretty sure scum has to be illegitimate otherwise it'd be too easy for them and the PM specifies "Lover Chat".
Is there anything other than convenience that makes you think Gorlak was hit?
We could have a weird scum switcher. Something like the RNG switcher in FF that can cause confusion, but can't bypass the doctor unless you're really lucky.
I dunno. All I know is I'm not scum.

Five hours to go, everyone is regular/ordinary townie, and most everyone wants to vote for Ty4on except for hobo and Ty4on who are probably going to vote for Kyanrute/ retroid
El Topo's team (giant panda) is cleared because of the whole chat bomb thing (which I think is pretty fair, they used the exact same adjectives as we got in our chat bomb PM, and the chat bombed was neutral, so even if they did have a sample of the PM they couldn't have shared it)
Ultrajay is open, I've already posted why I don't think He is scum (fairly inactive partner, never wavered on bussing scum), but he could be. Never called us out on our tracker play (for what it's worth).
So camjo-z/TL21xx is on no ones radar...

And don't think I forgot about how you ignored me posting evidence of you townreading Kyan/Retroid yesterday despite claiming you didn't.

My vote counts for two people, you know, so I'm not taking it lightly. I need to go to bed through the day's end however so I'll check back in an hour or whatever.

They were on Splinter's radar for much of D2 and I tried continuing on his suspicions. I was honest to God supposed to write some stuff about how I was leaning a bit town on them because they were too aggressive against me and then I read this:
That just doesn't read scummy to me. Sure it could be a fake, but it genuinely looks like he's just uninformed and skimmed the part of his role PM that said it was a three-shot.

Gut read alert. I don't have anywhere near the time to do a proper read, but Kyan and Retroid's caution is weirding me out. They'd be on the top of my radar if town didn't lose after lynching me.

If it helps Hobo started chatting a bit yesterday. I missed them at first, but he didn't look scummy to me. It's the same with Sophia. She was always very open in the chat. She did leave very suddenly (I even asked Burb if something had happened) which made me metagame a bit today, but she never seemed to attempt acting townie.

By our estimate we have one more scum (meaning LYLO is tomorrow). And if we only have one more scum it is likely they have a power of some kind. We already lynched their ordinary scum.
If we have two more scum then It's likely that chat bomb did work on scum, but one of scum's remaining roles is a blocker of some kind. El Topanda would be on the table in that instance.
But with only one scum left there is really only one option.

What business? You literally wasted the entire day on bullshit that gained us no insight, congratulations. Now we have less than 3 hours to pick someone else, and we all know late in the day is when people do their best critical thinking. I won't be surprised if TL isn't even here in time to switch his vote.
Still, my ultimate fail-proof plan remains watertight. If Ty4on isn't maf then Kyan/Retroid is The Final Option™.

With 6 teams left, we can try to logically work this situation out.
Boo and Ty4on did not move when we tracked them. If there are four scum players, it's possible that we just happened to track each pair on the nights they didn't do anything. Scum knowing there is a Tracker working on them (Night 2 and onwards) would lend some incentive to them maybe not using all their powers all the time.
However, we also killed the "Ordinary" loveless players, who could only kill, which means that they were probably using him to submit kills while the other players did their actions.
So while Boo and Ty4on are not cleared simply from our checking them, let's put them in a "less likely" camp for now. Don't get too comfortable, though.

That actually sounds like someone forgot that their scum buddy fake-claimed unlimited shot and was using their actual knowledge of their scum buddy's role - that of a three-shot scum tracker.
No, I read those. What ticked me off was change of heart. It just didn't seem that genuine and Camjo being the sole scum makes his willingness to lynch me weird.

The argument has been made that the Chat Blockers would nuke the entire scum chat if they happened to target scum, and so they probably aren't allowed to do that. But why look at it only one way?
When our chat was blocked, we were actually locked out of the room. That's becaus e the mods have great access in who can read or post in the Outer Gafia threads.
So it's completely possible that a chat blocker can target scum. That pair would simply be locked out of the scum chat. No only that, but their hush-hush scum nature might make them less inclined to just shout out "WE WERE CHAT BOMBED" right away, the way that El Topo and Panda kept quiet about it, and the way that BooJay kept quiet about it.

This was after their flip where we learned they were a 3-shot tracker. It's possible, but the execution is weird to me.
I think it's more likely it just fails, but in order to give scum the ability to fight back (so it doesn't act as a cop for town) they get some info about what happened so they can fake claim.
Oh I see. Just the way I think. It is rather straightforward. I ask for evidence. Most of it is provided. I willingly go along with what I feel is either a gambit or a genuine scum lynch. I emphasized myself more than usual at the start because of the circumstances and the fact I felt Zippedor were somewhat ignoring my questions and focusing on accusing you instead of defending themselves.
That makes that a real easy win condition.
Plus, we didn't keep quiet about it. I said that we were in the last day phase. I didn't pop up immediately because I was sleeping but you guys all saw them leave the game first anyway. Couldn't comment on Cuppa's fake claim because they turboed.
In my eyes, it's a 50/50 shot without digging through some posts and votes.
If I eliminate Boo and Ty as suspects, and trust that Topo is Town because of the chat bomb, then it's Kyan or Camjo.

The bomb is confusing. Scum knew the role and had some idea about how it worked. They knew bats was the bomber. If the bomb does not work on scum, the role works like a pseudo-cop. If the bomb works on scum, bombers win in three nights (minus a Nevertim hit). They did not. Only something like a blocker would then explain their delayed win.
No matter what, I feel Coppaflame were the target on night three. I base this on bat's strange reaction to Coppaflame's fake claim. But bats did not win. Either the bomb does not work on scum, or the second assumed scum pr is a blocker and they blocked bats on night three. Or something else with assumptions that cannot really be proven. Occam's Razor says it is the 1st so I will go with that.
