When I looked online they were like 70 80 and ya for a broke college kid its a lot for a minor annoyance. Which is what this thread is about for god sake minor annoyance that your pets do. I just wanted to hear other pets annoyance from owners because all and all my dog is perfect and pretty well trained.

Any mention of pets that doesn't have you bending to their will on neogaf will have petgafs wrath all over you. My dog is awesome. Love her to death but she can be annoying as shit at times. It's comes with the package. You're allowed to be annoyed with your dog and still love them to pieces. And because your dog does annoying things, doesn't mean they aren't well trained either. My dog is extremely well trained, more so than most dogs for sure, and she's still got annoying little habits. Tis life.

How often do you walk the dog?
Friends staffy x pitbull needed to be walked twice a day. Morning and night.

Did you ever go to puppy school? Basically once a week meetup at an oval where peeps bring new pups, do training drills & works as an introduction for dogs to 'socialize' and get a dose of other dogs quriky behavior. It's great even if you have had previous dogs because they're mingling with other dogs other than their direct friend.

I've never had the one dog except when one passed and the other was left solo. Always had a pair of dogs as it's good for them to have a dog buddy. Might be something to consider but if you're finding hitting your dog doesn't works and you're wanting to put a shock collar on then don't buy pets! It doesn't take a great deal of responsibility to look after dogs but there's countless at the pound and horrible owners.

The butt rubbing thing is more like how bears message their butts. They rub it against a tree and all that. She has been to vets before and they see here do that but don't say anything about it. Also I don't hit my dog as hard as I possible can I just give her a little smack on the head, but ya it doesn't do anything so I should by a shock collar. Really didn't make this thread to get training advice because my dog is preety trained she just has thing that are annoying. I just wanted to hear funny stories about owners and their pets and what annoyance they cause put I case I can continue to get judged in this thread...

But you're not properly training your dog, and that's why it is acting like that. As others have said, you need to first understand the issue, then use positive reinforcement and consistency to make the behavior stick.

These are trainable habits, though. My sister has a similarly crazy barking dog that's getting worse, because they yell her name when she's being bad and give her attention when they come in the door and the dog has been barking. That's positively enforcing negative behavior, which is the problem. You need to consistently ignore or shut down negative behavior, and reward the positive behavior. It doesn't happen overnight, so OP would have to be super consistent and unwavering. The whole family needs to be on board, as well.

You can train your dog to stop barking. Put in the effort to do so.

Pretty much this. All the yappy/barky dog owners I know pretty much give up after whatever they deem is "enough time" spent on trying to train it.. when usually it's because they were doing it wrong in the first place. And any progress that is made gets undone, because their owner doesn't bother to stay consistent.
