I'm reviewing for the AP BC Calculus exam next month. Currently, I'm reviewing Riemann Sums (I hate them) and the Trapezoidal Rule.

Left hand riemann sums use the lower x value's correspnding height as the side of a rectangle, right? (so if I have a left hand sum approximating an equation from x=0 to x=4 with 4 subintervals, my area would be the width of each rectangle, which in this case is 1, multiplied by ( y(0) + y(1) + y(2) + y(3) ), right?

edit: yeah I was right thanks guys.
