LTTP Acid Bath … The best band you can't listen too. (kinda)

Acid Bath is a metal band that came from New Orleans during the 90's. They were only togeather for 6 years and had a pretty tragic story. The bassist was killed by a drunk driver in '97
so they ended the band.

The record label they were signed to was Rotten Records. The band wanted to leave the contract but had trouble doing so. The label won't put the songs on YouTube Spotify and other streaming services because they wont get any money.

This makes finding good recordings hard to find without buying the actual albums.

Recently (this year) Spotify added the band, so go take a listen if you like metal.

Been pimping them to anyone who'll listen for twenty years at this point. Smashing band. As of a couple of days ago, 'When The Kite String Pops' and 'Pagan Terrorism Tactics' were both available on YouTube. They never stay up for long unfortunately.

Acid Bath is tight. Not something I listen to on the regular, i.e. I didn't even realize they weren't on streaming prior, but I've always been drawn to When the Sting Pops and its Gacy cover. Solid headbanging, but not my favorite per se.

Bleed Me An Ocean is my favorite song for sure. Sucks that their record label or whoever is in charge is still so over protective of their music after all these years. They took down all the studio versions of that song from YouTube. I managed to rip the full album uploads though lol. Actually the first time I discovered Acid Bath was through YouTube recommendations / suggested videos anyways, go figure. Been a fan for what seems like many years. They accomplished something very cult like with their music and art work and I like it.
