LTTP: Odama

Just got this in the mail from Amazon today for $8 with shipping. Love Yoot Saito games and Seaman. I even beat it (yes, you can *beat* the game Seaman). Haven't unboxed it yet since the girlfriend is on her way back but getting excited to get into it. I heard it's pretty damn weird.

Isn't that the crazy pinball game with RTS elements and voice commands?

It's exactly that, and better then you could ever imagine. Okay, so that might be a bit of exaggeration, but it's quirkiness and at the time surprisingly effective voice commands, made it a great experience.
There is an issue with difficulty and that does stop a lot of people from enjoying it, but if you can get past it with help from some tips on how to play, there is a gem here just to enjoy the hectic action of it all.

Seriously. Don't play it unless you can invest it, because it turns out that it's really good. Genuinely good, not accidentally good.

LOVE this game

I actually beat it with a friend. too busy to handle triggers, RTS and voice commands all together.

my friend kept shouting to the mic while I had the controller

That sounds like fun, inputing the controller commands while a friend yells at the game for you. Might require some alcohol, but then again, that might just make it more difficult than it needs to be.

*reads that Odama costs 8 dollars on Amazon in the OP*

*goes to Amazon, buys what Amazon claims is the last copy in stock*

Fuck yeah.

As a Gamecube only gamer last generation, I would have bought this game when it came out if whoever published it hadn't tried to charge me like $59.99 just because it contained a fucking mic.

Some Wal-Marts in my area still had Odama in stock for $40+ last year. Pretty sure they finally got rid of them in some way, though I doubt they sold.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add the "bomba" to my post. Glad you got it.
