Jesus nobody had told me about this show and S1 was amazing. Sure the sister and the mom can be grating, but the two brothers? Amazing storyline.

I liked Michael C Hall in Dexter, but in this? Holy shit he's amazing.

The episode of the homosexual kid broke my heart. So fucking powerful. Hopefully the rest of the seasons keep up the quality.

This show doesn't get nearly enough credit. I suppose it was just overshadowed on HBO by The Sopranos but man it is really great all the way through.

I was not ready for the final season...keep watching OP you're in for a treat.

Probably the last "contemporary" series all but devoid of smartphones and social media and I love it for that people actually had to talk to one another face to face.

If you like it now, you will be blown away by the following seasons. Each one gets better and better with very few mishaps.

It's one of the best dramas ever. The way people age and change, confront what occurs, accept or deny.... It's all so very real.

Some will snub it for being too Californey but they're missing the better aspects of its incredibly relatable events.

Excellent show. One of the few shows that *actually* made me reflect on life. As in, relating the show or its characters to my own life events/experiences, etc.

Very dark, and true to life. Probably the most involved I've ever been in media, as far as caring about the characters goes.
