Lucas arts could make a killing on the DS.

Please.

Gabriel Knight 1 is brilliant, it's the only Sierra game that rivals the best Lucasarts advanture games.

I always wanted to play that Blade Runner game...was it any good?

YES. It came out as the genre was dying.. IIRC it was after Grim Fandango, which most people view as the genres swan song.

Edit: turns out it came out a year before Grim Fandango.. but by 1997 the genre was on its way out.. only the power of TIM could resurrect it.

bumped so that the power of GAF over the gaming media could lead to a G4 special or Gamespot oped piece about how this is a wonderfull idea. But give me credit or I will tip over your virtual magazine racks.

If Sam & Max appeared on the DS I would buy it in an instant, my god was that game awesome.

(though to be fair I'm already getting one for Another Code)

That's a brilliant idea. Can one of you with a talent for persuasion and good English grammar send LucasArts an e-mail? I'd do it myself but my vocabulary is limited to a few hundred words. :)

The new Sam & Max was cancelled. I suppose there is no chance they'd ever consider making that for the DS.

Point and click games would be awesome. I hope, I hope, I hope this happens! Don't know how well it would do, but I sure would buy the games. I still play them on my pc once in a while. I'm going through Grim Fandango right now actually.

Just wait for ScummVM to be ported to the PSP. Problems = Solved.

Yes, because the PSP has a touch screen that would make the point and click part very intuitive...

Blade Runner kicked Grim Fandango's ass all over the place, I finished the game four times just to see the different endings.. It was incredible. I still own it and wouldn't ever dream of selling it (although a friend of mine lost the box! GAH!)

This game is horribly underrated, it was one of the best adventure games evar :)

But that isnt the point. Using an analog stick as a cursor SUCKS. It sucked back when Maniac Mansion was ported to the NES, it sucked when Sim City was ported to the SNES, it sucked when Railroad Tycoon 2 was ported to the Dreamcast, and Im willing to bet all of these years later it still sucks.

I would buy a DS just for Maniac Mansion (with updated visuals). Its a shame that LucasArts would probably never bring it out since it would make too much sense for them to do it and because it isn't freaking Star Wars.

You sit on a throne of lies... and you're about 3 months late.

The real credit lies here...
