I made the mistake of watching Spider Man 2 and playing Ridge Racers before trying Lumines (is it loo-mens or loo-men-ess?).
I sat down in a dark corner, plugged in my headphones, and began playing away with Shinin. No kidding that an hour went by in the twinkling of an eye.
The music, visuals, and interactive musical notes combined with the simple, yet fun puzzle gameplay really make something special.
For the first time since Metroid Prime and to a higher degree I was immersed in a game.
Makes me want to try other games in that vein like Rez.
Oh, and the PSP screen is mana from heaven. I can't play my SP now.
