America didn't deserve two classic rap albums this early in the year. I keep going back and forth w.this and TPAB. I feel bad for rap fans that died before hearing these albums.

I hate guns and Lupe's verse on Chopper makes me want to buy an AR-15. Chopper is easily in my Top 10 posse cuts. The beat is so intoxicating and even mesmerizing while blazed. I use Chopper as a measure of time. Ran a mile in under 1 Chopper, took me two Choppers to walk home from Barcade last week etc...

all this loll

I friggin hate guns but dammit Lupe made me want to go to the pawnshop and put an AR on layaway. Choppers goes in.

Still bumping this daily, 3 months in and 2015 is miles beyond 2014.

T.R.O.N is getting a lot more play form me, the buildup to Ab's verse is fantastic.

Listened to it today.

SO GOOD.

Favorite songs: "Dots & Lines", "Deliver", and "Adoration of the Magi".

The Cool > Food & Liquor > Tetsuo & Youth >>> Food & Liquor II >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lasers

Pretty much my list. Was bumping Deliver since before the album came out, and D&L just has such a great sound going for it. I would probably just add Body of Work onto the that list, as a former alto sax player... gat damn!

Really excited to see what Lup does next now. Hope he keeps it up.

Lupe got to do what he wanted on this album according to him, and it was through a long struggle with Atlantic and good fortune only. Atlantic had him wasting time putting verses on songs like Old School Love trying to find a radio cut, they had several songs of that nature they were demanding to be on the album. Songs like Mural and Chopper apparently only exist because he thought he had to balance the softer songs that Atlantic were persistently trying to push on the album.

Next one should be indie, which should at least be interesting. T&Y grew on me as time went on. I thought I was done with it but started coming back and I listen regularly now. I also like some of the songs that were meant for Lost in the Atlantic, like Haile Selassie with the Soundtrakk + Nikkie Jean collab. Good song imo.
