I've always been partial to the YF-19 because plus was the first macross I saw. Still haven't seen the original. Now ima have to go with the VF-3000 because that looks like a f-15 to me.

Which is your favorite valkyrie of all time?
mine is the VF-1S Roy Focker from DYRL
It was the VF-17S for me, love the look of Fighter Mode. However I think the SV-262 has overtaken it.

On the flip side my favorite used to be the VF-19, but now the VF-17 series has overtaken it.
I also love how it looks in FIghter Mode, but I also think it has a great profile in Gerwalk mode too, which is my favorite mode overall. Ever since that PS2 Macross game made by Sega AM2 I have loved that mode. Goddamn, I might try to dig that game up from collection tonight...
I've honestly been mulling over buying one of these ridiculously expensive figures for the VF-17S.

Many of those are from Macross Zero and 7 which you haven't seen yet. Also plus, though I can't recall if you've watched that. 7 especially has alot since you've got all the custom units (yeah, nearly two rows of that is 7.

Okay yea, seems like they all came from M3. The only game only Valk I recognised was the YF-30 since Macross 30 is p.good.

I'm on Ep 5 of Delta, lol at jellyfish chips being like crack. Is there a Mirage focused ep coming up at some point? Is there a reason the DYRL flight suit designs are referenced in every show and not the flight suit designs in SDF 1? Mikumo legit has those thug life fingers. Alto and Hayate act completely different towards everything. Alto tended to waffle a bit with everything, Hayate is practically just a shonen protag by comparison.

the yf-19 definitely has a lot of fans, it was yamato/arcadia's first transforming macross toy so it's very dear to them.
i definitely want a sv 262 when it releases
i like the vf-17 too, and trying to hunt a 17D style down at a decent price.
i tihnk you meant the YF-19, right? (the wings, and body are modeled a bit different from the VF-19S/F)

It was like they mentally transported themselves into their old kitchen or something, shit was hilarious. Next thing you know the interviewer is airing out the dirty laundry of their divorce on tv. Too good. I hope I get more of that in this show. I wasn't expecting Mylene to be Basara's pink haired base player, the Wiki either left that out or I stopped reading it to avoid some spoilers. I think Mirage inherited Mylene's stick up her ass, but not her sense of rhythm.

No lie I currently have Basara shouting/singing constantly echoing into my head. I don't hate it at all, soundtrack isn't Frontier tier, but it's fine. I have no god damn idea what the Protodevlins end game is though. They just seem to randomly attack, suck spiritia out of people, Basara shows up, sings a few notes and the main dude so far is just like "fuck this song shit I'm leaving." Mylene is alright, Firebomber looks 80's as fuck. So far I'm just waiting for the story part to kick in and more of Max and Miria shenanigans. Why exactly doesn't Max just chill out and see an actual concert? He clearly wants to see Mylene perform...at least he's a better dad than Naruto Uzumaki. Why does Max's uniform fit him so poorly too. I hope at some point in Delta Mirage picks up an instrument. After seeing Mylene I can't see her daughter not being a musician of some sort, then again Mirage might be more Millia than Mylene. On top of all this Basara's Valk looks like shit. It's not as cool as the one from Plus or the VF-25 or what they're piloting in Delta, worst one I've seen so far.

Well I hope they give Mirage some more screen time at some point. I enjoyed seeing her and Hayate argue in ep 5. I'm trying not to be too caught up with Delta mainly because it's not even done yet so I can't marathon it at my own pace.

I finally went back through this thread for Delta related purposes and this sums up why I like Mirage so much.
At least it's not just me. I'm pretty sure Mirage has a much cuter side, she just has difficulty showing it. Cause well...it's Mirage.

Yes, yes she is. The only one that even out cutes her is Freyja. I'm not too into Walkure from a looks stand point cause they just look...weird to me. Mirage actually looks like an actual person and we all know she'll be on equal footing with Walkure when she is actually forced to try at some point during Delta. I think we all though Minmay was the default choice until Misa actually started showing her softer side. After that Minmay didn't stand a chance. Same could be said for Sheryl. I wasn't too into her the first ep of Frontier, but god damn did she grow on me.
