Yeah...Bob is dangerous. I thought he was going to do something to Pete. Tense.

Did they find someone else to do the "Next time on Mad Men." That was very different than the usual cut. And it only used scenes from earlier in the season.

I'm thinking the season finale is going to be huge.

LOVE LOVE LOVED the scene between Betty and Sally.

Loved the ending.

But

Can someone explain the scene between Bob and Pete to me? I think I've got the gist of it but I want to be sure/hear an opinion on it.

He tamed benson. Should bob ever piss Pete off ever bob knows hes done for. By apologizing he got bob's submission.

Goddamn. Don is just spiraling right now. Peggy calling him a monster turned him fetal just like how he was in Sally's bed. He's just lashing out hoping that the people he cares about the most hurt him.

Don even gets shitted on when he does the right thing like he does when he is busy fucking up.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the finale Don quits the agency or just leaves (without Megan) to live somewhere else and we get a really weird final season.

I think that Pete is worried that Bob will just become a bigger problem if he turns on him. Pete said that he had no idea what someone like Bob would be capable of with a day head start. Bob is pretty heavily weaved into Pete's life. Know where he lives, where is mother lives, etc.

Plus all the other partners made it very clear that they wanted Bob to stick around on Chevy. Now that Pete knows he can't make Bob walk away because he has non existent references, he has to just deal with it.

Pete's only play is that Bob has to stay away from him sexually, or the deal is over.

This. He learned from his mistakes from Don. Bob will fuck with everyone, but Pete will be safe.

Can't wait for Bob to cross paths with the master of the mind game.

Heh at Pete thinking Bob is Don 2.0. I loved seeing Bob stand up for himself. It was hot.

Poor Peggy being in the crossfire of another one of Don's mishaps, even though Don was right this time. (Though the way he went about it was gross.)

Alright that's what I thought. So that's it for Bob's backstory? He was a servant? I want to know more. Looking forward to rewatching the episode (and season).

Weird that we haven't seen Joan/Bob anymore, but I guess there's no point now.

I have to think the sexuality is a minor part of it. Bob went for it and was rejected. Are we to think he's some kind if predator? Pete is just lame and self centered.
