I have been on the most epic TV watching binge in world history, so I actually forgot too until I saw this thread this morning.

I'm in the middle of Sons of Anarchy Season 3, The Shield Season 3, just marathoned the five eps of Vikings, just finished marathoning all four seasons of Justified, etc

I have so much more time to watch this shit since I had to cut the bad influences out of my life lol

Looks like Mad Men is scheduled from 9:00-11:08pm tonight, so double check your DVR to make sure you're recording all of it. There are two replays that run later at 11:08pm and 1:16am if my math is correct. If you're timeshifting it, Sepinwall says that the premiere is 93 minutes without commercials.

Just rewatched the season 5 finale to get back up to speed and liked it a lot more than I remember doing first time around. Oh ma gawd I am excited for some more Mad Men

what do you think of Justified? Only watched the first 2 seasons myself, and I've heard poor things about the third.

It's all relative. The third season of Justified is still really good. It's just a little too ambitious, and it's right after the great season 2.

I mean it's pretty good. It has a few of the most brilliantly colored characters in television, especially that of Boyd and Eva, and a endless lineup of amusing although sometimes painfully stereotyped support characters which round things out.

I would say the first 6 episodes of the first season of Justified were the hardest for me to get into, because I couldn't pick up on any really compelling consistent plot thread and the whole Crowder gang plot doesn't really start picking up steam until around Ep 6. After that, the show pretty much did a good job entertaining me. Not one of my favorite shows, but a fair diversion.

The Carousel is my favourite Mad Men scene together with Don's anti smoking ad.

Fourth season takes the crown now. Justified is amongst a small group of excellent shows imo.

The carousel scene was wtfomgamazingwhattt. When Don goes into full out expert advertising mode it's always super entertaining.

Hope we get a lot of Don/Peggy this season somehow. I mean there's only 2 seasons left, I want to get my maximum fill of that relationship.

I still think it's a dick move from Lane. Especially to Don. I mean I feel for his situation and all but killing yourself only hurts the people around you. On the other hand, he is the man that punched Pete in the face. One of two men actually, but still.

Season 5 was weak to me. There were many good parts/moments, but I really hated the whole Lane thing (among other moments). It Didn't feel epic/big/memorable to me (nor almost every other character for that matter). I think that they just didn't do it that well. Rather than it ending in a death, there should have been some huge fight/fallout.
