Is spaghetti some sort of weird motif in the fifth season?

Megan serves plain spaghetti for dinner twice, and another time she's making bolognese (at least I think that's what she said it was), presumably to eat with spaghetti.

Maybe it's just the only thing Megan knows how to cook.

I really hope weirdly cute receptionist Meredith comes back.

As a character I enjoy watching Betty more, but she's definitely more annoying. What's annoying about Megan really? Not a whole lot that I can think, worst thing I can think of is she can get emotional. Betty on the other hand is petulance personified.

Megan is incredibly shitty to her friends. She belittles them, talks behind their backs, and even fucks them over (as seen in the S5 finale).

Thus, why I think she acts like a 15-year-old.

Doesn't Betty do all that too. Or at least most of that and more. I'm not saying Megan is a saint but MORE annoying than Betty? Is we watching different shows. Literally 99% of everything Betty does is annoying.

I enjoy watching betty more but I can't get around that.

Betty doesn't have friends.

While S5 wasn't my favorite, it had a particularly noteworthy three-episode run that just blew me away: "Mystery Date", "Signal 30", and "Far Away Places".

Other than S4's spectacular run (particularly the "The Chrysanthemum and The Sword", "Waldorf Stories", "The Suitcase" trio, but you can choose any three consecutive episodes for that season really), I don't think there's been a stronger triplet of episodes on television...

..except maybe from My So-Called Life ("Life of Brian" --> "Self-Esteem" --> "Pressure").

How are Mad Men blu-ray extras? I'm set on buying the complete blu-ray boxset next year anyway, but I'm curious. Any good?

For everyone else that doesn't have amc, ... itunes or amazon? Is there a clear winner?
iTunes quality is better, in terms of both bitrate and resolution. If you have any Apple devices, it's a no brainer. (Especially since Amazon doesn't provide a downloading solution for Macs--it's streaming through flash player only.)

iTunes is limited to Macs, PCs, Apple TV, and iDevices though. So if you want to watch through your game console or Roku, go with Amazon.

Any ideas how quickly shows typically go up on iTunes after airing?

I've suspected this, so I'm glad you answered. I'll go with itunes then. Now that they seem to have included the option to download shows manually, it shouldn't be too painful this time around (season 5 had me waiting several days).

oh boy this Sunday is getting too crowded now

but ain't nothing taking the place of my MAD MEN. All other shows can bow down before its splendor and get the fuck out of the way. I'll TiVO the rest of them bitches if I have to.

But man TV is crowded

starting next week, the following shows will have my attention somehow ->

The Borgias
Game of Thrones
Vikings
Mad Men

how to split the time! At least Justified just ended :p

Yeah, those three eps saved the season for me. Signal 30 might be my favorite of the entire series.
