That's actually pretty cool. Immediately I'm drawn into thinking of ways to use it with Invisible Stalker and/or Geist of Saint Traft. Smash in a Lingering Souls and/or Midnight Haunting and you have a pretty large unblockable swinging.
Day of Judgment isn't revealed for a reprint yet... wonder it will get one? Perhaps Damnation instead?

With all the hexproof bullshit going around I think they have to, although white does already have terminus. They need to print a red sweeper as well

I agree though. Just reprint Pyroclasm and be done with it. Or nerf it like they did Incinerate and up the cost to 1RR.

So with Sublime Archangel out, a creature with Exalted will have it trigger twice on attack? I'm liking the thought of Invisible Stalkers even more now. Are there any 1 drop Exalted creatures?

It'll trigger for as many creatures you have that have exalted. In addition if say you have that angel and it gets exalted from another ability it would activate twice. They are seen as separate instances of exalted if I'm reading the card right?
Yes I meant after rotation. Bonfire is too slow when you don't luck out. Pyroclasm would be good, Volcanic Fallout even better.

And yes, I think with that angel out you can have a card that gives +2/+2 to a lone attacker.
Right. If the angel is your only creature you will get exalted once. If you drop the angel and attack with just the stalker he will get exalted for every other creature you control, including himself.

Looking through the spoiler on MTG Salvation, it seems there lots of cards that have exalted in the new core set. Even though I did a lot of collecting during the Alara Block (managed to get the whole Shards set), I've never made a deck with any exalted creatures. Maybe now is time to give it a shot.

Pretty much, there's no synergy with soldiers right now, it's all humans. It's just not as much as people are making it seem I think
I like it because:
-it's a cheap alternative to Blade Splicer
-it's a 2/2 first strike human
-it gives an extra body to sac or trigger an etb ability with
-both creatures benefits from Honor of the Pure
It would've been amazing indeed if that extra body was a human but I could see the card being a rare at that point.

Whoops, my mind read it as human. If it is only soldier than screw that card. Human tokens would be so money.
To be fair we don't know whether Honor will be reprinted or not just yet.

Wasn't this time the second in a row so it probably won't?
But it's a 2/2 human for 3 mana... And unless I'm desperate I'm not wasting my blink in a deck for this card pretty much ever. Blade slicer gave you a 3/3 golem that had first strike if blade splicer was on the board. I'm not sure how you can even compare the two like you would use them the same.

I'm with you. 2/2 first strikers for 3 don't see constructed play, and getting an extra 1/1 token out of the deal that doesn't interact in a tribal sense certainly isn't going to improve its chances.
In limited though? This could easily be one of the best white commons.

It never works when the cards before it are still overpowered so it still stays worthless. They're moronic in their execution of it.

So we still haven't seen any lands in M13 yet. I know we're getting much better lands in Ravnica than Innistrad and M12, but there's still a good chance the M12 lands get reprinted, right? EDIT: Just looked - there's a nice gap between Evolving Wilds at #224 and Plains at #230...
Also, still crossing my fingers to see Dungrove Elder get a reprint...

Unless they do something crazy and make new duals that support the enemy dual lands like in innistrad just like scar + m11/m12 were the same color combos. They probably won't but would still be interesting.
I like the Dungrove. They should definitely keep him in.
With RTR being a gold set, it makes him an awkward fit in Standard.

If you could ramp into enough mana, this + any instant speed burn spell would win you the game. Could maybe be a plan B for some Storm decks?
EDIT: Just realized that won't work, since the Instant would resolve before the Worldfire, and make the damage moot.

Once this thing resolves, nobody has any resources left and everybody has 1 life. You'd have to suspend something, tuck something away behind an O-Ring, or use some other clever trick - instant speed burn won't do it.

Yep, it becomes topdeck wars.
But even more exciting because you have to topdeck lands AND the spells.
Barring some planned O-ring or suspend shenannigans, a red burn deck playing this card will likely out-top deck the other deck, especially when ANY burn spell/haste creature will do.

Yeah I don't think anyone is hailing that as a new addition to burn in legacy or anything. It's no Bonfire of the Damned, it's just an amusing card that would be great to play, even if you only ever get to play it once in the lifespan of a deck.
