Unfortunately there's almost no chance, there's another Izzet character all but confirmed to be a Planeswalker

Just played my first game of DotP13. It was pretty awful. I'd say 90% of the time was spent waiting for the AI deciding whether or not he wanted to attack me. I realize that's not normal, but we had a pretty strong stalemate going the whole game. I don't know why I didn't just throw in that card that makes me win at 40 life.
The worst part is, the smaller of the Pridemates had gotten up to about 35 or so, bounced, then got up to 113 and bounced again.
More importantly, I'm glad to see they're finally reprinting the medallions. I still have a couple from Tempest, back when I originally played. Was always disappointed that they'd never been reprinted. Definitely going to get a playset or two of each.
Wat?Was there a particular reason you weren't just swinging in every turn with the huge pridemates?
Also hate to burst your bubble but Medallions aren't being reprinted.![]()
Wat?
But they have new art and everything! Why would they go through all the trouble D:
Also, they had those stupid Fod Banks and I had no way to deal with them.
Really? When i was playing I saw the 9th edition art. There's also new art for Sleight of Hand as well.
Intriguing.
I still think we won't see the shocklands until the Ravnica block. Wizards is going to want to sell as many packs of that set as possible.
What are shocklands again?
I suspect we get M10+their INN equivalents in M14 before finally getting new core set lands in M15.The shocklands also make the M10 lands better since you don't need a basic anymore to have them come in untapped.
RG Aggro siding in the Dragon against token decks and what not? At least ones that use spirit tokens. Could be neat. 5/5 hasty flier for 5 is a great deal for your mana though, even without the fact that he slaps each of your opponent's fliers.
Looks like I'm gonna be using Ranger's Path once Rampant Growth rotates.
T1: Forest, Arbor Elf.
T2: Forest, cry.
T3: Forest, Ranger's Path.
lol I'm so upset (I'll get over it) at losing out on early ramp in green. It's always been my favorite way to play. But seriously, T2: the tap for 3 mana human isn't bad. But I don't know if I'll ever get over having to use Arbor Elf...haha
Faith's reward is awesome after getting DoJ'd. Mostly because Champion of the Parish comes back in and regains +1/+1 counters
I'm wondering if we'll get Pyroclasm back in 2013 or RtR. Faith's Reward would counter against that very nicely.

I am actually very sad to see my favorite deck go. So many of the staple cards I use are going away.
Adaptive Automaton - No real replacement
Mortarpod - No real replacement
Geth's Verdict - A couple of strictly worse replacements
Cemetery Reaper - Diregraf is the only lord left
Go For the Throat - Murder will be fine. I'm cool with this one.
Basically, my favorite deck is down to Messanger, Gravecrawler, Diregraf Captain/Ghoul.
Time to really start play testing more decks.

Good riddance sez I
Does it seem to anyone else that there has been a disproportianate number of blue spells with absurd casting costs lately? I suppose it's always been that way to a degree...
Adaptive Automaton and Cemetery Reaper are just bad cards, Geth's Verdict isn't strictly worse than Tribute to Hunger as double black is a big deal and Murder is an awkward card for the same reason. Mortarpod is a reasonable loss but not terrible, B/R zombies should still be good.
You have AVR demons with the sacrifice to use in zombies that people aren't using yet. People need to abuse those demons in zombies.
Messenger,
Gravecrawler,
Diregraf Ghoul
!!!!BLOOD ARTIST!!!!
Butcher Ghoul
And some maybes
Bloodflow Connoiseur (sac outlet)
Highborn Ghoul
Not that great, but you can still run some pretty decent mono-black blood artist shennanigans
You're going to be able to use Llanowar Elf and Rampant Growth until Return to Ravinca comes out, you know that, right?
Comprehensive Rules:
702.14. Lifelink
702.14a. Lifelink is a static ability.
702.14b. Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that sources controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes). See rule 119.3.
702.14c. If a permanent leaves the battlefield before an effect causes it to deal damage, its last known information is used to determine whether it had lifelink.
702.14d. The lifelink rules function no matter what zone an object with lifelink deals damage from.
702.14e. Multiple instances of lifelink on the same object are redundant.
Keyword Defined
The static ability happens whenever a permanent with lifelink deals any damage, not just combat damage.
All older cards with this exact ability have received errata to change that ability to lifelink.
Note that the card Spirit Link does not grant the creature it enchants lifelink. The lifelink ability has the creature's controller gain life. Spirit Link has Spirit Link's controller gain life.
Super random rules question:
If I cast the Life Link enchantment on my opponents creature and the next turn he attacks and hits me. Who gets the life? Do I get it nullifying the damage or does be get it.
This happened to me playing MTGO some months ago and my opponent got the life. After asking the question in the MTGO help chat with them stating what happened was correct. I've been playing under the assumption this is correct but a friend pointed out the ruling:
The last sentence is what has me asking. Mostly for clarification at this point.
Thx
