Try completely powering down your PS4 and turning it back on.
I think they're out in EU but not US for some reason.

As a person who doesn't own a PS4, what features are now missing? Suspend-Resume and MKV support? I want to jump in when the foundation is concerete.

DLNA/Media Support (MKV support would be amazing, hopefully as XB1 added it Sony will too).
Are the three big ones I think. Anything after that is just icing on the cake. I would love Sony to open up an SDK for more apps like on XB1 as well, but thats a long shot. (we wouldn't be pissed about no DLNA support if Plex could make an app...)

Well not just MKV support, ANY movie support is missing along with DLNA.

According to the OP the CoD and Destiny themes are PS4 themes and aren't Sharefactory ones.

So I came to work today without turning on my system because the last post I read was a "shit, my system is stuck in rebuild database and keeps turning off" which scared the shit out of me. So my question to the people who are having installation issues, was your ps4 in stadby mode prior to the update or was it turned all the way off? I have mine sitting in standby and when I get home today I am going to deal with all this but I need to know if I need to take a Valium first.

Applied the update. Some things seem faster like the friends list immediately populates. Haven't played around with it much just booted it up to stream Netflix for the kiddo.
I can't login to the app either (UK).
Yeah it didn't work for me at first either, but then I went to settings - sound and screen, and then turned system music off and then on again. The themes have music for me now.
Makes them much better!

I've noticed that only happens when a request to PSN servers timeouts. Usually you wouldn't be able to see friends list, and can't open trophies then, the main menu will start bugging out.
