Me too, but my standby mode stopped working. It's turning off completely everytime. Any workaround?
This. Also, it doesn't work anymore with my headset. I lost all the sound.

Went back to titanfall tonight. Those loud sound spikes were actually am!most painful and I was worried it might damage my headset..

Weird, nope. Maybe check your settings. There is a setting where you can enable/disable face recognition.

Also I hear a very faint hum now. My PS4 used to be totally silent when in stand by.

I'll report back when I get mine in tomorrow, though I don't know how much that would help you guys if they actually work. Maybe try reinstalling the headphone app?

For what it's worth, I've used mine all day on 10+ games including Rogue Legacy, Child of Light, Rayman Legends, Watch_Dogs, The Evil Within, Spelunky, Infamous Second Son, etc (did a ton of Share Play testing with multiple people) and I have had zero problems with my Gold headset.
It's still kicking ass.
Mines the same and the ps4 is very hot like somethings constantly running.

Avoid at all cost. Wait until a new update comes out, which i assume it will have to happen this week.
Personally, I've had no problem. From what I've seen, avoid Rest Mode until further notice.
General consensus is not to use rest-mode if possible to avoid a potential lock up. Some people have had rest-mode work fine - just a risk because there seems to be a bug.
So don't use standby?
Dont use headphones. You dont want to go deaf.
I usually don't use it so no issues for me. But yes avoid stand-by (now rest-mode) just to be safe. It won't brick your console but you'll have to do a hard-reset if it locks up.

It looks like when I'm playing Disney Infinity and I go into "Rest Mode" the Portal's lights stay on until I unplug it. It didn't do that before the 2.0 update.

I think so? There's a little bit of heat coming from my console like if I had it on but with no disc inside.
