September 16, 2005 - Remember Nippon Ichi's planned PlayStation Portable strategy / RPG Makai Wars? Well, don't worry about it if you don't, because Nippon Ichi does. Long thought cancelled due to its long absence, it turns out that the game has been moved to the PlayStation 3 instead. Though no other details beyond the sheer fact that it exists have been revealed, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan did confirm that the game is in development and headed for a PlayStation 3 sometime in the near future.
For the unfamiliar, Nippon Ichi is the developer / publisher responsible for such cult classics as Disgaea, La Pucelle, and Phantom Brave. If Makai Wars plays anything like those titles while taking advantage of the next generation graphical hardware available in the PS3, strategy fans could be in for quite an experience.

Atari to bring challenging driving series back to the masses.

September 16, 2005 - The confirmation that Atari was hard at work on its next PlayStation 3 game other than Alone in the Dark was so buried in obscure paperwork that we almost missed it. But after a couple of double takes and a little luck we uncovered confirmation from Sony Computer Entertainment that the French-based publishers responsible for Driver and Dragon Ball Z are already hard at work on the next episode of Stuntman.
Simply titled "Stuntman Sequel," the new driving/action game is a direct follow-up to 2002's fun and challenging "perfection racer" that tested player reflexes and memory skills. Sadly, no other information is currently known.
