So I'm getting my first DVD burner this week, and none of my tech friends know what software I should get so I can burn DVD movies (stuff like episodes of TV) so that I can pop them in my dvd player in the living room and have menus and such. I think I have some software that came with the stuff I got for my camcorder, Pinnacle Studio, but I'm not sure about if I just want to make stuff from scratch.

So is there a good and cheap/free program out there that makes some fine DVDs?

And don't tell me to go buy a mac.

I was actually wondering the same thing. :lol

I'm leaning towards getting a mac mini actually for christmas, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on DVD software, and since the Mini would be a totally seperate system I could do my normal stuff on my PC. By the beginning of next year I hope to have both a mac mini and a cheap laptop for school next year.

I think I'm setting my hopes a little too high .
