Hey if the judges feel that these guys only need probation, I think they should be required to let their daughters/granddaughters date these great gentlemen.

You guys might want to read the article from People. It explains exactly why he got off light. They didn't have the evidence to convict, and there was contradictory evidence in both cases. Maybe the prosecutor/police fucked up the investigation, but this isn't a case like the Stanford one at all.

Just saying you don't have enough evidence to convict doesn't mean you lack evidence. It can also mean the judge will disregard the evidence or, in the case of a trial with jury, that the judge will not allow the evidence to be presented in court.

There lots of judge who only care about witnesses, because a judge cannot prevent a witness to testify. Only let the defense lawyers attack it's credibility.
