You're describing the law. MANY MANY MANY employers flout the law. Especially with immigrant workers. Even ones with visas.
So you're a dick too then? The tip amount is what's supposed to be left on the tip line not your bitching about what they did wrong. Not happy with the service the amount does the talking.
Well the difference in this story is that they decided a witch hunt would be nice so they released his name, usually with these they're suspiciously redacted in enough ways where they turn out to be fake.

How is this a hard conclusion to make? I mean, it's not 1:1, I guess. But it's the same hemisphere, the same sport, the same stadium, probably even the same play. Why is this such a jump? The person is racist. Why get upset about stating the obvious?
Any low amount is still a reward, and I'm not going to leave it blank. So instead of putting a cross, I'll write an informative tip that I believe would help them next time they serve a customer.
It's not that hard for them to understand.
Good Service = Big Tip
Bad Service = Small Tip
I'm just helping through information. To me that's better than giving them the small ammount, and be on my way.

A low amount like a dime or a quarter is a slap in the face so if you want to be a dick that's the proper way. I assure you a waiter would just read your comment as hot air from some grouchy dick that wants to feel better about themselves by downing a low wage worker.
You're not supposed to leave it blank for fear they may think you just forgot but I think a strike through the blank field works if you don't want to leave a tip.

I only eat Indian food made by white people...or sushi made by white people...or Thai food made by white people. Because white people have to be here legally right? Not someone else from another nation. No way in hell they could be here legally or be legit U.S. citizens.

The assumption isn't that the racist asshole is White (though let's be real, odds are they are) but rather that the sever and many of the people who might be employed at this Thai restaurant aren't White. That is to say why would this racist asshole eat at a location (that specializes in food from a foreign culture no less) that has a high probability of employing a lot of people who aren't White if they hate non-White people?

Maybe two glasses of water at home. But when I'm in a restaurant I expect a glass of water when I have my complimentary bread, a glass when I'm eating my meal, and finally a glass after my meal. One glass of water shouldn't cut it.

With a tip run through a credit card machine that would most assuredly apply that tip to her W-2 and their employee payroll taxes? Seems unlikely.
