I count Ichigo being too emo to fight as him losing his powers btw. Story-wise they're essentially indistinguishable.

I just counted the times when Ichigo "lost" his power. Did he lose his power again after getting the fullbring or was is before that? If it was before, then I don't think it counts.

Well, what can I say. It's easy to bounce back from last week. I will admit, I was like *rolls eyes* at the unohana BS, but I can't lie, I was amped up about the fact that Kenpachi is getting his zanpakto.

Meanwhile on the other side of the zanpakto world, Ichigo is a little pussy and now he's going home. That's wonderful. I know I'm not the only one who thought Renji looked manly as fuck. And didn't say shit either. Boss. As for Ichigo and his training, he was referencing all the time Ichigo has been fighting since FGT, right? Huh, I'm somewhat interested.

Fullbring was like a bastardized version of getting powers, it wasn't the right method. Then, we got this sword method, made by Urahara with no other questions asked about it. We also know that snake has been the one jacking methods from all of the Royal Guard, so I'm thinking this back to basics shit will at least be something fresh.

Actually kinda good, and at least the battle was legible and okay to follow! Always felt the Gaara 1-tail battle from Part 1 was like THE Naruto high point, so stuff kinda getting back to that area is appreciated. But then a flashback within a flashback. Sigh.

The hinting at what Aokiji is now doing and what Aokiji was hinting at for the marines to prepare as well as the dialogue with Smoker would have felt alot more random.
