Daiya no Ace Act II 63

I'm glad that Sawamura is getting this respect from Kataoka. This is long overdue and hopefully he will do well on that practice match.

Started Welcome to the Ballroom and got to the latest chapter. It's pretty good so far, my only concern so far is how this story will handle whatever future development in their relationships. Fujita's current partner is
Chinatsu
and she's the one who would make the most sense to go for if actual romance was to happen now, and yet I have a feeling
Shizuka
is the inevitable choice regardless. At very least we know
Chinatsu
is not going to be with him forever based on the first chapter.

I like the art too.

👌👌👌

I also finished Oyasumi Punpun last weekend.

10/10 will never read it again.

Some good manga overload here.

As long as the romantic tension between Fujita and Chinatsu is resolved I'm happy. The first page could easily be worked around though (ie. Hyoudo gets hurt, Fujita steps in again etc.)

Principate

Saint Titanfall
bam gets another op power
i miss the bam that used his wits to (barley) get through all the hardships.
Since when. Baam's never been like that. His greatest assets was the fact he was down right suicidal thus he came up with actions sane people normally wouldn't. Those largely being letting himself get eaten by the giant monster monster and attacking from the inside.

Since he's progressed from Rachel litterally being the sole reason for his existence he's not quite as suicidal anymore.

Theres lots of BL manga with height difference. Its the cutest.
It's cute and rife with comedy potential indeed.
Lovely Complex and Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki might be right up to your alley if you didn't read them.
I already read the latter and made an impression on it. But it was rather "realistic" than what I want considering the couple are mid schooler, making it more light hearted SoL than romcom. Haven't read the former, but I assume the girl is the short one? I prefer the girl being the tall since it's one of my fetish it have greater comedic potential in my eyes.

There's still an awful lot of people who seem to think Erina and Soma have the same mom despite the logical problem with two people being the same age and having different fathers.

I don't see a logical problem there.

Misuzu-chan 478

At least Tomo-chan is somehwat self aware with that shirt.
And i can see CC beating Tomomom.

DGM shouldn't have been released this month, since it's confirmed to be 6 pages.

Showing that Neah and Tykki are gonna have a fight.

New chapter confirmed for spring though.

Well that's certainly a surprise, but better have the author end it on his own terms than trying to stretch it forever if he feels like he did everything he wanted.

Translations are currently 3 volumes behind by the way.

Really? Oh thank god, I thought we were getting some insane rushed ending. I need more Akane trolling in my life.

Well, yes, they have already published 8 volumes I think? 9? and the author has chosen to focus on the sport aspect and some personality aspects of the characters, but there has been no advance in the romantic front.
Is it how the entire manga is going to be, or things will change on the future? I don't know.

I would like some romantic aspects in the story, but without being overbearing and absorbing the rest of the comic. In a way it feels a bit unnatural when you have a story starred by teenagers, from both genres and everyone being good looking, and where they are always in close contact... and somehow no ones does anything. Come on.

Tatara and
Chinatsu
are always together lastly, and they are pretty in sync outside of the ballroom, they would be a cute couple. Personally I would like to see see them together... but on the long run, I think him ending up with
Shizuka
would make the most sense. Not only because how the first pages started, but because we had hints like his obsession with her (as a competitor, but maybe something more??) and moments like chapter 31 (when he meets her in the summer camp).

Melancholia 1

New manga by Dowman Sayman, which's apparently going to be a collection of short stories like Nickelodeon. First chapter was about as thought-provoking as you'd expect. Here's hoping the actual apocalypse has tentacles.

Coolio, I adore Dowman's art style so much and love shorts. Reminds me, I've never actually read all of Nickelodeon. Should probably change that.

Tomo-chan wa Onna no ko! ch478

At least one of them ain't afraid.

Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro ch16

Such a nicely harmonious trio of friends~

Walking to school is surprisingly full of mindgames.

Maou-jou de Oyasumi ch23

She's just acting like a RPG protagonist!

Joshikausei ch58

Such popularity. The two were pretty much going to come to blows over her, lol.

Shishunki Bitter Change ch43

About time it happened. Let's hope it won't take too long for them to talk about it.

Kyou no Yuiko-san ch47 (End)

Eh, a rather straightforward and unremarkable ending for a rather straightforward and unremarkable series.

I don't even know how or why I started reading this as there is literally nothing from it that stands out, but at least that's one less thing to care about now.

Melancholia ch1 by Dowman Sayman

A new series by Dowman Sayman, and as they say, you can never have too much Dowman Sayman in your life. It seems seems to be a series of short stories, which is perfectly welcome and I have faith it'll be more than a match for its predecessors.

The world today.

Semblance

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map
Jojolion ch. 61

Haven't seen Yasuho in ages, so hell yeah.

Pretty fun chase / horror chapter. A very Araki chapter.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
Tomo-chan

A Tomo-chan page was released.

[Set this post to repeat every day]

Good Morning, Good Night(mare) (Madoka Rebellion doujinshi)

A collection of short stories centered around the Madoka cast, that's mostly inspired by the events of Rebellion. As one can expect from an anthology, there's quite a variety of styles in art and story. I'm however mainly talking about it because one story in particular caught my eye, namely Or Perhaps a Dream of Betrayal by Natsuno Riku:

The deceptively simple yet elaborately unnerving atmosphere it manages with its chibi-esque artstyle and dull monochrome is quite a feast for the eyes, and while the story is short, it makes great use of its illustrations to depict a world of doubt and deceit that the Magical Girls experience. Wish the author made more stories.

All in all, a fun little anthology, with of course some shipping.

I'm okay with anything as long as it's not super abrupt. Hell, I could take Mako if there is enough buildup. It's just that I've read too many romances that end with first girl/boy just because it is a stupid recurring trope and sometimes because the publication got axed and there needs to be a hastily written ending. Tomo Takeuchi has a strong grasp of each character's motivation, so I don't see it happening, but who knows?

It would be amusing if the winning girl turns out to be someone completely unrelated to the current roster lol

Jojolion latest few

I can't wait for the anime adaption so that I can understand what's even going on half of the time.
It's great tho.

Kimetsu no Yaiba 45

This arc has been great. Was only a matter of time until the matter with Nezuko got around to the human bigshots, and it's a great way to introduce the Pillars while also probably confirming the status Tanjiro and his sister are going to have among the demon hunters going forward.
Also seeing Tanjiro getting angry whenever someone wants to harm his sister will never get old. The way he just headbutted and smacktalked that arrogant big-shot with his hands tied was satisfying as fuck.

Agree. I'd much rather it end when it should instead of drag on.
Also because its one of my favorite manga currently running, I'd hate for it to have a shitty ending.

I think the most recent chapters are pushing Chinatsu HARD. (Also funny is that in the "heroine rankings" Takeuchi did, Shizuku got 4/5 and Chinatsu got 5/5, so I'd say there's a pretty good indication who the author favours. Gaju got ranked too at 1/5 stars, I laughed). We get a couple scenes showing Fujita taking more of a notice of Chinatsu along with realizing she's the most beautiful girl on the floor, and plus there's the part where they *almost* kiss recently. I think Chinatsu is written extremely well, and her presence is a hugely positive factor on in terms of making the last 4 volumes much, much better than the first arc.

Hajimete no Gal 24

this is trash, dropped

But they're going back to his house! Obviously something will happen!

I still find it almost funny how pandering it is to losers. It was funny early on when people kept assuming maybe there was some kind of twist, but then, no it's just a totally stock series where a loser MC gets a stylish, super-hot girlfriend, and then it turns out he's a huge magnet for stylish, super-hot girls with big cans.

Manga artist Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, BAOH, Steel Ball Run) has drawn the cover of volume 130's issue 5 (available September 7) of the American biological journal Cell, at the request of two Japanese authors published in this issue. Dr. Mitsutoshi Setou and Dr. Hiroshi Ageta are part of a team that identified a protein named SCRAPPER that helps regulate synaptic activity in the nervous system. Among other potential benefits, the findings reported in the "Ubiquitin Ligase for Synaptic Tuning" article will aid research on Alzheimer's disease and strokes.

According to the issue, Araki's art depicts SCRAPPER as a purple humanoid "putting blue heart-shaped ubiquitins on the red RIM creatures." Araki drew the illustration with the scientific direction of Drs. Setou and Ageta.

So is this the Tall Plus Short I think it is?
Yes it is, that's why I want some romantic comedy with premise like that since porn manga would just focused on the lewd :(
Sakuranabo Syndrome.

I actually finished this recently. Will do a writeup later. I was so fucking shocked when SPOILER!
spoilerspoilerspoilert the threesome
I'm going to wait for that writeup.
Wait have you read Do You Like Big Girls aka Ookii Onnanoko desu ka?
Isn't that more harem and ecchi kind of thing? That's why I don't consider it to my read list.
You are in for a pleasant surprise.

So, high five fetish buddies!

I'm quite sceptical because it's shoujo, but now I'm going in.
