Still the best okamoto lynn work because of how ridiculous this manga is. Lewd level is off the chart for a manga published in non-porn magazine.

Interested in the stone thing I guess.

Love Tyrant 28
I've to read a few past chapters cause some of the intricacies of this deep and meaningful plot are being lost on me.

He got a cover?! Wow. Would have never guessed Yuzuru would get one.

Uh, wow. I would've guessed Kageura would be on the cover this time or Aizawa given they were the captains so it would fit in with the trend, but I guess Ema is the more popular one lol?

Then again, Nasu and Ninomyia might have also got their covers because they were the more popular characters in their squads rather than them being captains.

Hows workd trigger anyways

I remember hearing the anime was incredibly mediocore. I was about to pick up a couple of books too.

I like the manga a lot. It starts off slow but when it picks up its really fun to read and see how the story unfolds. It's closer to a sci-fi sports/battle series at this point, but it has a pretty nice cast of characters and it's pretty engaging.

Calling the anime mediocre is charitable to say the least, at least when it started. It started off horribly, and even going back to watch those early episodes makes me wonder why they thought they could do what they did to the pacing and direction. It's like they thought "hey, we can have still shots for like 10 minutes for each episode right?"

The anime started improving 3 months in, and nowadays it can been enjoyable and good at times. The animation is there, the direction and pacing is better and they don't take the same short cuts they did at the start.

It's still not something I'd recommend to someone who isn't already a fan of the manga, but the voice cast is pretty good and the omake at the end of the episodes can be funny. Just skip the first 20 episodes.

Legendary gambler Tetsuya 1-15
A manga about mahjong set just before and after Japan lost WW2. Supposedly based on true story about a man who descend into darkness called mahjong and later wrote a novel about it. Tetsuya, a young man decide to become a gambler after two important event.
1. Seeing an old man decide to gamble his life by being in a rooftop during america bomb raid
2. Being forced to gamble by his coworker.

For a mahjong manga, the early chapter focus more on the protag acquiring mahjong skills (read, cheating) and conquering every city that has mahjong parlor by teaming up with various person.

Quite good. I enjoy the trick and how hotblooded the protag is.

Actually reading manga again for the first time in a while, and caught up on stuff.

Detective Conan 950:
Well, the plot has been moving like crazy recently, and they finally have a possible clue towards Rum. I'm guessing that we'll be heading back towards Sera and Mary next time, but we should get some followup stuff on Akai and his father, too. Either way, things are getting intense.

One Piece 817:
Pretty fun chapter, and the Poneglyph appearance is pretty exciting. This arc has been moving pretty quickly so far.

New Prince of Tennis:
Don't really care about Kintarou's backstory too much, but I guess it's out there, at least. I'm hoping that we start the actual tournament in the next month or two. I'm excited to see what the other teams have to offer.

Hajime no Ippo 1126:
Okay, Sendo vs Miyata would be a pretty cool fight to see, but I fear that Morikawa would have Miyata win that fight, which would be pretty underwhelming. But for now I'll dream on scenes of Miyata getting his face punched in.

looks through last page...

late to the party but R.I.P Dramatis

finished Gundam on my back-catalogue though Dramatis.... will finish the others in your honour

Am I missing something? He cooked the salmon in low temperature and then put the thing under a broiler. What?

Isn't the whole point not to put it in high temperatures? I'm so confused.

A miyata match now huh. We'll at least see how he's improved.
Hopefully Ippo watches and gets some kind of motivation

He slow cooked the whole thing then used a very directed charring oven, so it basically only heats from one side very quickly to char the salmon without affecting the slow cook process.

World Trigger anime is one of my favorite of last year. Apart from the random change they had to do in that one fight due to IRL event happening close to hope it has been a great experience and I couldn't ask for more. If another company had done it we probably wouldnt have even had the whole invasion arc animated or it would have been condensed into 12 episodes and completely changed and then we would never get some of the Rank Wars stuff.

Also dont skip the first episodes, GIRIGIRI is still the best World Trigger OP song.

My favorite end of episode omake is still the *spoilers* one recently and also Mikumo's Omoshiroi thing.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
This is probably the worst Soma subplot so far. A lot of people hated the Soma vs. Eizan arc but that one at least had a story arc about people I sort of care about. I don't care about Edgelord Heat Man. I don't care about Ryou saving his stupid club he didn't know he was in.

I don't dislike Polaris v. Central as an overarching arc, but I do not fucking care about watching these specific battles where nothing of relevance is on the line and the only purpose is introducing more fucking characters.
