Well ēlDLIVE is quite the experience. Chuuta is hilarious and I did laugh at some of what the girl was saying as Chuuta was getting progressively more agitated to explode. Colouring scheme employed is fairly nice and works well with the attacks and synchronization going on for the action later on as the adventures of the space police commences.
Akira Amano's faces for shocked and panicking leads is still excellent even here. Going to love him as much as Tsuna.

The different planet states introduced in this chapter are all interesting. I like how modernized Aftokrator is (nuclear power plants even?) which puts it at the opposite side of the spectrum for the water world of Liberi and the cavalry medieval~ish era Leoforio. I wonder which of these nations would be the ones launching the attack or if it will truly be a combination of them. Perhaps an Errant Nation even? Oh well, the large amount of locations shown on the map makes it appear to be a much larger series than I even imagined and cant wait to see all that there is too it (though I hope for explanation how a nation that still rides on horse back could potentially launch assaults against the Earth, which requires at least some type of space travel? or is it just direct dimension travel?).

I decided to read Nisekoi again because well....I pay for it with International jump. The fuck did I just watch? It was a swimming chapter with none of the main characters getting any spotlight, nor does it advance the plot. It was a terrible short story as well. Is the writer just making random chapters because he knows that no matter what he does it will do fine since there are no other harems in jump?

He doesn't want to do anything that would change the status-quo because he makes money without anything occurring. The last two *actual* storyline developments are Haru getting into the harem and Chitoge internally admitting she's in his harem. Both of those occurred like 40 chapters ago.
Its the most base harem shit in the universe. Its funny to read to see how hard the author will try to keep shit as status quo as possible.

They're 100 chapters in and nothing at all has really happened. Every character feels the same way about each other character they did before and no moves have been made in any direction. Half of the plotlines revolve around something happening which turns out to be reversible for whatever reason, e.g. Onodera tells Raku she likes him and Chitoge is standing right there, but Raku turns out to have spontaneously lost consciousness and Chitoge inexplicably can't hear.
How is this still around? If there is a wide fan base for harems shouldn't they try to kill this off so another, hopefully good one, replaces it?

Nisekoi makes top half rankings all the time, so why would they discontinue it? Not to mention, it does so without being remotely lewd, so its not even controversial. Even KNIM has sex and nudity.
The one thing I'll give Nisekoi is that its pretty free of shameless fanservice, even the allegedly buxom girl isn't embarassingly drawn; you wouldn't even know without the characters telling you.
I know of it's popularity, I also know how Jump will try to keep it around as long as they can. It just kind of boggles my mind on how popular this is.
Nisekoi is one of the few few romcoms I've seen that has a doujin without any naughty nonsense going on. Purely anecdotal, they probably exist for everything, but that still says something.
It's downright suspicious.

He knows what to watch out for, though, because we immediately jumped to 80, haha. But there's no way this tournament will end without at least one perfect (maybe more). Either that, or something like 99 with the 9 coming from one of the sisters.
Also, calling it now, if block B hits 100 points too somehow, they'll make it a point that the judges in block A are harsher. Also I doubt the winners will come out at any less than 90, so it's safe to say the witch is gone.
S&M got a laugh out of me. The potential for S&M reactions is so vast, she might become a regular just for those!
Well, it wasn't really one chapter for 1 person. Establishing the judges and the score average took a while, too. They can easily do the rest of block B in ~3 chapters, even if you give Tadokoro an entire chapter.

I don't think so. It would take like 10 chapters just to do the preliminary judging. I'm not discounting that this tourny arc might take 50+ chapters, because it probably will, but they've at least already done the actual cooking already.
The only named character we saw was witch-girl and she got an 84, so I imagine everyone important will get through.

I can definitely see this happening. Especially Soma who would probably take this as a defeat. For more predictions, the strong nose curry dude (name escapes my mind): 94-95. Soma beats him but loses to Alice.

Well that was kind of a dull affair. Kamiki has always been the weakest link among the cast so a chapter dedicated to her was a bit painful. Fortunately with the page length, next month should at least not be wholly focused on her. I hope.
