Gaf, I want to wear blazers everywhere.
What do
I wish I had a reason to wear blazers everywhere.
Because I'd do it all the time.
Also, I need some new glasses. This Warby Parker ad at the top of my screen is curiously enticing.
yep.
I'm originally from New England, so I miss the colder climate. It's hot for far too long down here.
Tell me about it. I live in Florida. FLORIDA. I get all excited when the temps hit around 70 for fuck sake. I don't even know what seasons look like. I am visiting Vermont (My dads families home town) for the first time this November. I am hoping some cataclysmic event occurs, and ends with me staying. Fuck the south
Prepare to see some fucking amazing scenery. I was born in Vermont, moved to Connecticut at 3 so I don't remember VT much during the few short years I lived there, but I've since visited a few times. New Hampshire as well. New England in Fall = wondrous, for both scenery and climate. I miss it, and could never live in Florida. I feel you man.
And to keep it relevant to the thread, I miss the longer periods of time to wear fall/winter clothing. I love jackets and sweaters, and this fall/winter will be wearing more scarves. I've worn 'em on and off in the past, but was always unsure of how they looked. I do really like them though for some reason, so why the hell not. I also love gloves. I just enjoy covering up for winter, I guess. Maybe it's nostalgia.
I can't wait until the glorious day where I walk into the store/mall and see isles upon isles of magnificent fall/winter wear.
The best time of year.

I hope and pray that this winter is colder than the last one. I couldn't even break out a heavy jacket last year.
Spring is easily much more fun.

I hope this place is underwater soon. The ocean needs to claim it.
CT here. Been rocking long pants every day for the past few weeks.
Color me Jelly, good sir. What part of CT? Before moving south I grew up in North Haven.
I don't even care that I live in GA now though, I still rock long pants almost 98% of the year. I simply don't like shorts all that much, and I don't really know why. Jeans for lyfe.
As long as the displaced people don't come to New England.
Fairfield County, Trumbull, to be exact. Used to work overnights in New Haven. What a city. :lol

Button flies are a deal breaker for me, no matter how much I like the pants.

They're much better than having a zipper, having the fabric shrink and ending up with a zipper bulge.

You can't get a 2XXL to a M.
Still can't decide on good walking shoes that go with shorts/jeans. I am indecisive. Half of me wants some plain white Nikes but is not sure they will be comfy enough, the other half wants running shoes since they are extra comfy but not always nice to look at.
Im aware of that.
I can still get it smaller, I mean I had to wear it sunday as due to various reasons the clothes I bought to a mates didnt last long enough. It didnt look completely stupid but still..
So tempting...
Those look pretty awesome actually. What brand of jeans are they?
Any sneaker should be fine for just walking I'd say. You're not really stressing your body like you'd do when running. Hell, any decent fitting shoe should work.
You can wash it in warm/hot water, then dry it in the dryer, other than that there's no way to make it shrink more.
I used to think like this, until I got my first pair of button fly jeans. They've been my preferred choice ever since.Button flies are a deal breaker for me, no matter how much I like the pants.
Yeah, too long in the body. You can mask it a little bit by wearing a longer shirt, but eventually it's going to be noticeable. So I just got this as a gift.
I assume it's too large?
So I'm looking for good quallity fedoras/trilbies. Do you guys know where I could find some?
Straw hats are way cooler anywaysTake that as a no?
What does fashion-gaf think about the g-shock watches?

Is it possible to shrink a tshirt without wrecking it? Got a free tshirt on saturday for a one off event but its 2XXL and im usually a M :|
Saying that I probably couldnt get more than one size down out of trying to shrink it without wrecking it.
Borsalino makes very nice ones.
That about covers my fedora knowledge.

Cut it up into a rad tank. I happily buy oversized t-shirts at thrift shops specifically for this purpose. Nobody should be wearing crew neck shirts anyway, which I assume this is because who the hell has ever had the sense to use v-neck or scoops for giveaways?
