I am gonna say some off the wall shit.

Bungie could've had the next HALO on their hands after that trailer, but for the fact IT'S A FUCKING EXTRACTION SHOOTER.

I wanted to watch this game burn but hot damn that trailer made me want a compelling single player story in that weird, colorful but dark world, and then enjoy some of Bungie's gunplay chops in multiplayer. But no, extraction shooter because some suits still think that's a thing that's gonna blow up in the mainstream console space and make them some FORTNITE BUCKS.

I worked all day and I'm tired. Disenchanted. And now I'm trying to process all of these game trailers and my head is spinning.

Know what you feel, buddy. Being a turned based dungeon crawler fan and kept getting stuck with roguelikes instead. Liking one genre but kept getting something that is almost but not quite what you want, sucks.

Graphics look interesting, but it seems kind of sus when a Sony game is using PC footage in a Playstation event. I'm intrigued enough that I would have given it a try if it had some kind of single-player campaign, but just extraction shooter is a no-go.

From that, to not releasing a game there is not really that much difference. (outside of spending disproportionately more money to actually lunch a game).

Also, you say is a kids game but is not coming to mobile and it will not be f2P (based on Sony's track record)

Bungie doing live service games for 15 years now and people still have delusions
Just give up - afaik making SP will require them to rebuild some internal processes as they are tailored for gaas pipeline now.
