Thanks for this topic this is my WIP.. I gotta mess with system icons next and I'll clean up the interface a bit...

It's a revolving background that changes every 30 secs with another 3-4 pics from that GT 5 car.
 
I tried Rainmeter, and I just couldn't get into it, so I only use Rainlendar now and I love it.

As far as my wallpaper goes, I have about 200 and they change every 5 minutes.

I have a bunch of pics my brother took with his camera.
They are changing every minute or so, so i've taken a snapshot of each one:

I like 'em, they're quite relaxing.

How did you add that background to your clock, calendar, weather? Also could I please have the start orb, looks awesome!
 
I've been doing some themifying, but I'm having a lot of trouble with my taskbar icons - I can't seem to get them to change :(.
 
changing directly from the taskbar won't change the icon until windows decides to (when the icon cache clears IIRC)

You gotta do what i said in the OP: create shortcuts with the icons changed, and then pin those shortcuts to the taskbar.
 
Is there some way to have a command line "stuck" on my desktop? I know you can do that sort of thing on Linux, but it'd be nice to have on Windows.

Yeah I was doing that - I was trying it with my library, and that shit wasn't working, thus I made the post. Then I tried everything else, and THEY all work - it just seems to be the library.
