He was always going to win. Its just people believing in Triple H current meta character that got everyone believing he was going to win. This feud is basically based on the internet. Hell Hunter said on Smackdown he is going to Bury Daniel Bryan. I expect him on Raw tomorrow to attack Bryan with a shovel or do a funeral segment for the Yes movement where he literally buries Bryan with dirt and a shovel.

Also, I heard an opinion on a podcast I heard that Bryan winning at Wretlemania is to early with this whole rumor that Batista contract that he has to have the title at some point.

I'm sure Batista will be winning the title at Mania, as was originally planned. Bryan is just in the main event so the crowd doesn't shit on the show.

If Batista had come back to a decent reception and actually able to wrestle he'd be a lock for the belt, he's just to shit to give the belt now though. Orton's title run has been absolute crap as well so they'll give the belt to Bryan for a few months just to keep the crowds quiet for a while.

Drop the title to Dave on Summerslam, or maybe even MiTB.

Have a meaningful title reign, that justifies this "slow burn" for Bryan.
