You had to type strange names when the game ask you name for the save, not hack, just secret codes.

You know what, maybe maria wasn't in, but ritcher and blue knight were 100% in.

Yes, Maria was an addition to the Saturn version, as well as the garden and central area with the ghosts. And also boots to run faster, IIRC.
