Default worldwide has been improved. Matchmakes quickly, races are usually in 150cc (I think...), and network problems are rare.

Custom worldwide options are empty - the lack of a lobby is atrocious.

Same as above with the tournament mode, but you can use this thread to gauge when the rooms are active.
