Yeah weird it's almost like people enjoy engaging with controversial topics more than they do adding a +1 to a movie OT.

I was watching the beginning of Tennant's Doctor Who run last night, and they have that bisexual Captain Harkness character. I'm reading articles from around the time about how this is a big win for LGBT yadda yadda yadda. 15 years ago. Anyone tired of this shit yet? I do get the sense more and more that this is less pushing back against actual tangible oppression, and more rubbing people's noses in shit you know they'd rather not think about, because you can.
