You make it sound as if the Avengers are going to be playable for 5 minutes, and then Kamala is going to be the only playable character for the entire game. I think it's easy to assume that once the first introductory chapter ends, you start with Kamala only, and then ala Final Fantasy VII, start recruiting the other Avengers in your party one by one (Banner probably is the first one).

And last time I checked, muslims weren't a minority.

I bet that Kamala will not hog the spotlight and that the rest of the Avengers are going to be playable in the story mode and have a decent chunk of gameplay each, and that Kamala will not overpower them in gameplay terms.

Loser has to change his avatar for 2 weeks into a picture the winner deems appropriate (nothing offensive, just harmless fun). Bet ends once the game is released and we know details of the story mode's course.

I personally don't mind her inclusion at all, as long as she doesn't make the other members of the cast look incompetent and as long as she's written well - which, by looking at the trailer and the gameplay segments, doesn't seem to be the case at all. She's a breath of fresh air and energy in a cast primely led by straight white men, so I don't see why other folk should feel so threatened by a character whose main function in the plot is to remind the other members to do their damn jobs and be heroes.

You got to love how people online will go on and on about how "digital is the future, physical is dead", and yet conveniently when Ms. Marvel's comic is brought up they suddenly only want to talk about its low physical sales and fail to mention its high digital sales (at one being Marvel's highest selling comic via digital).

Anyway, gameplay looks solid and I like the VA doing the role (funny thing I thought it was Ashley Johnson AKA TLOU's Ellie in the role, but it's someone else). Also, maybe I missed a video where they showed they fixed it, but Tony's face looks better, and I think they may have slightly improved Black Widow and Thor's face as well. Hopefully Cap will get the same treatment, he needed it the most.

I think a Rogue game is an interesting idea it can use stealth and ambush mechanics similar to batman but less acrobatic and not using gadgets forcing you to move more and ambush enemies with good abilities maybe a mechaninc to sense nearby characters, steal their powers and beat them , extract information form guards, using powers like touching a "stone skin" mutant and then beat armed guards while bullets cant hurt you, different powers can be used in certain parts of the scene like flying or teleporting, wolverine's regeneration for walking into fire, things like that, is not a new idea but is a good use for a character like Rogue

Great, if you are into comics I suggest checking out her Vol 1: No Normal it gives a great insight into the character and why she is popular among some readers.

However she has been around for a while now interacting with Avengers, Inhumans and X-Men so anyone crying diversity is kind of puzzling
