Marvel’s Loki gets a new trailer - June 11

Looks fun.

I guess though, that they'll address why Loki stealing the tesseract is a big deal for the time police but the avengers going back to stop thanos isn't.

This is an interesting question.
Will they think that Thanos was meant to snap half the universe and it should have stayed that way or did they see the Avengers unsnapping things as the way it was meant to be?

I don't think this will matter soon once that next Dr. Strange movie comes out, but at the same time the MCU is good at addressing the aftermath of things so maybe they'll have a good story for it.

Maybe they also work on goodwill and there just isn't enough to address that issue. :messenger_winking_tongue:

No, it's pronounced like the name Lachie, especially in its native form.

Shouldn't the Living Tribunal exist to stop abuses of the Infinity Stones and thus allowing what the Avengers did falls in the "well, things self correcting I will be sipping an apple-tiny here then" bit?

The pitch meeting for this must have been weird.
"Okay, dude. Get this. Loki, Owen Wilson, TIME COPS."
"Yeah fuck it why not?"
*both do coke*

I'm sure the Living Tribunal will show up one day. The MCU is just scratching the surface of it's sci-fi elements.

Anyone else not give a shit about marvel after the triple turd that thor 3, infinity war and end game was, or is it just me?

End game to marvel is what season 8 is to Game of Thrones

They returned it to the exact moment so it's like it never happened.

:).

I have to say that WandaVision, Falcon & The Winter Soldier, and now Loki are being much better than expected additions to the MCU and a great way to tell stories that match how these stories would be published if they were comics instead of movies.

I think the episodic format of series can bring MCU up a notch in terms of offering storylines and adventures similar to the comics while filling the gaps between big movies and matching Disney+ business model too.

Well, yeah, but ultimately they still used time travel to bring back half the living beings in the universe.
I'd imagine the events achieved without time travel (Thanos actually winning) are the ones that correspond to the "correct flow of time".

They show in the trailer they're only concerned with the branching universes, which returning the stones to the exact time they were taken prevents.

But Endgame caused a few branches:
Loki taking the Tesseract in 2012.
Thanos vanishing in 2014 (and then dying in 2023).
Steve Rogers marrying Peggy Carter in 1947.

Maybe netflix and abc made th bar so low that disney plus cleared it easily? But I do agree.

I liked Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil as well as The Defenders series, but they felt a bit different… maybe a bit too dark for the MCU movies? Still, I would have wanted more of those especially Daredevil. Dragon Fist was meh.

I see the Marvel fad continues.

Why should I care about this C tier Marvel character?

You shouldn't, you should totally stop watching any of these movies or shows and avoid these threads. Spend your time on things you love, not things you hate.
