Game releases on December 6th. For anyone who didn't play the beta, this was surprisingly very fun. And I am at the age where I can't enjoy these types of multiplayer games, but this one was very satisfying for some reason.

Yes, it's free to play. The closed invite only beta alone had Steam concurrent players around 150k.

Tried the beta but found it way too chaotic and felt like a spam fest to be honest. Will probably try it again seeing as it's free but don't think much would have changed.

Apart from both being games, they are nothing alike. Chara design in Rivals is super sexy and Captain America even got the ludicrous Rob Liefeld chest. It's just dripping with fan service, while Concord's chara design looked like budget cosplay at the community college.

... and as OP said, Rivals brought in 150k players in its closed beta. Concord only managed 1-2% of that with an open beta. Rivals is very likely going to get its money back and make a profit too.

Haha, that's on me. I didn't know much about the game except I noticed it is developed and published by NetEase. Guess I need to reverse my meme.

I am hype! And that's coming from someone who is completely over all of the Marvel stuff. I just want a solid hero shooter along the lines of Overwatch or Paladins that isn't Overwatch or Paladins.

I don’t play many games online let alone F2P games but I will most definitely give this a go. Looks super fun and I love Marvel.

Iron man, Hela, Magneto, Venom, so many characters look super fun, I can’t wait to get my hands on this.

But yes, December is packed for me. Lots of games, just thankful this will be f2p lol
