The beta was great, can't wait tbh. An Overwatch clone that's actually more than OW ever was, with more likeable and interesting characters.

It's crazy because I thought it was going to be a lazy clone mobiley feeling game, but it wasn't at all -- pleasantly surprised. The game just feels like they care, there's even an animation for highlighting a character portrait, plenty of little details. Love that they use more obscure or lesser known characters too

for real. I was constantly wondering how and when Marvel suddenly became based, because that trailer is dope af, and I hate most things Marvel. Makes sooooo much more sense that it comes from China

I wonder how much of a disadvantage you have when playing PS5, vs PC players.

I played Overwatch for hundreds of hours on PC and recently switched to PS5 for gaming. I'm not sure if I feel comfortable playing this type of game online with PC players...

Maybe that's a misconception on my end.

You're going against people using a mouse to aim. Huge disadvantage.

Doesn't matter since there won't be crossplatform or crossplay, and the devs during beta were being dicks about it.

Each platform is its own isolated version of Rivals, and handles are unique. So if you play on PS5 and PC you need a unique name on both and your unlocks don't transfer across. It's a colossal fuck up that's going to bite them in the ass next week.

(for that last one, I agree I wouldn't want Batman wearing that armor most of the time, but fighting Superman does make sense he'd put it on. Although a Kevlar suit is apparently considered armor, so technically he's armor-ed up usually anyway)

Maybe, but as long as every costume is "lore accurate", having been featured in the comics and/or movies, I don't have any objections.

Yea Marvel once published a comic called ROM: Space Knight. The problem is the rights to that are now split between Hasbro and Marvel. Habro owns ROM and Marvel owns Space Knight, so when they brought it back they made Agent Venom into the new Space Knight.

After a quick Google I read from a few different sources that crossplay is in the game, but not for ranked play. Seems like it makes sense...

I would assume you can turn off crossplay for non-ranked, but we'll see.

Personally, as a console Overwatch player who keeps crossplay on, I never notice a huge difference. Mind you, I main Sombra, and an obvious character who would be stronger on KB/M is Widowmaker, but Sombra is a hard counter to Widowmaker.

So to many of the so-called "PC Master Race" players* who try to flex as Widow in a match with me, well, I'm all:

*note: not a general dig at PC players, just the ones who feel KB/M makes one vastly superior against console players ALWAYS ignoring individual character pros/cons and such.
