With the recent agreement between Activision and Marvel what type of rpgs would you all like to see? Personally, I would love to see something with Dr. Strange.

Dr Strange isn't a type.
I'd like them to stick with the X-men Legends style of beat em up mixed with rpg elements, if only for the fact that turn based games bore me to death. So Legends style but "better" is fine. Just add more characters and improve the fighting system and I'm all set.

I would love a turn-based or strategy RPG with combat sequences that took place over comic book panels. That would be my dream marvel RPG.

Something that is turn based with quick time events, and crystals; it must have crystals that can be equipped for different power ups. I would prefer random battles as well, but they need to occur every 10 to 15 seconds.

House of M RPG. Which crosses over into the Avangers RPG, Spider-Man RPG, X-Men RPG, Fantastic Four RPG, ect.

My ultimate hope is that Microsoft makes an MMORPG, featuring a TON of different Marvel characters...I'd be very interested in something like that.
Meh, I couldn't give a hoot about Marvel. They've nearly ruined themselves once and it won't be long until they do it again. Makes you wonder why they're whoring out thier properties left and right.
Now if you want a great comic label, then DC is where its at as they seem so down to earth an natural and aren't whoring themselves out left and right. This is why I'm so hoping both WIBE deliver and excellent Action RPG and SOE a MMO.

I've been a DC fan since I was a little kid but the idea of playing Strange really appeals to me. Heck, playing as the Phantom Stranger would be even better in my opinion.

I have boxes of X books and Spidey books from the 90's, but I won't buy Marvel comics these days (I'll still play the GOOD Marvel games like Hulk and Ultimate Spidey). He's right about them whoring out their characters. I remember picking up an issue of one of the X-Men books in the comic store in 2002 and noticing that they changed it to look like the movies, as if they are just using the books as a $2.99 ad for the movies. Then they went and gave Spidey organic webshooters in the comic, again changing the comics to fit their movie business. Blah.

The 90's had the bullshit of the stupid varient/foil/hologram/scratch & sniff cover stuff, but the characters still weren't being whored out and changed just to match some movie. The movies should match the comics, not the other way around.
As for crossovers, hell they aren't that bad. Right now Supes/WW are crossing over (there are three Supes books a month and one WW) and Batman is crossing over with himself with the main story jumping between Batman and Detective.

And back on topic if its not a team theme (avengers, x-teams) then it should be epic. Like the first secret war, infinity gauntlet etc.

Anytime you bring up Marvel and DC an argument occurs no doubt about it. As for just rehasing Legends as I said earlier they should do it with the Ultimates.
