I like reading in the guide that Chris and Thor work well together since I thought about putting that together before. We'll see. Another day in the lab.
 
Argh. No demo. I want to see how this plays with my arcade stick. I don't know if I have the time (or will) to put into this game to get good enough to play online. Is MvC3 balanced enough to buy now, or is this game going to have a remix version out in 6 months?

Is the online better than SF4's (the first one, never played Super)?

Ya, well seems what he's good at. Getting in and landing hits is awkward with him for me some reason. His string is fairly slow, so i tend to get stuffed. Should work on my BnBs with the lag set up.

She hulk is okay, but another slow character. Im curious if actually trying to use her runner's moves more often will help... but it's so telegraphed and I just know I'll start eating assists if I do. Her slide is badass though, and I abuse it waaaaay too much.

left NJ on the 15th. can't believe it didn't arrive yesterday since i'm in MA. they're carrying the shipment with a goddamn scooter, i bet.
 
I am having a lot of difficulty finding games online games on the ps3. Especially ranked games. I have done about 50 searches in the past 3 days and have been able to get into a total of TWO ranked games.

And the regular games work about 60% of the time.
 
Man, Chaos Dimension does so little damage. I thought that would be up there with Lost in Nightmares and Raging Demon.

I think I'll wait until tomorrow night/this weekend to be trolled endlessly by Q, might play with friends that are as terrible as me tonight. :p
 
Whoever Automatisch is on PSN, thanks for whooping my She Hulk team with your Sentinel / Morrigan / XXXX team.

What is one supposed to do against a Sentinel that lasers non-stop and builds meter with Morrigan for HSF? I tried the She Hulk ass slam and it just got me a faceful of HC.

EDIT: I've got She Hulk/Wesker/Doom
 
So I was just looking through the unlock conditions for a bunch of titles. What does it mean complete Event #1 etc. There is no Event mode is there? Is this going to be DLC or something?

after 10 or hours in da lab with mag I think i have the basics down. can do some serious damage and have his combo's down pretty good. time to move to skrull and doom.

skrulls orbital assist is great for magneto if you you're looking to combo. it does a ton of damage and knocks the opponent in perfect range to land mag BnB air combo.

Fuck beam-spamming Sentinels and Dr. Dooms and because of the shitty matchmaking I fight the same guys 5 times in a row.
And yet I still love the game, must be the masochist in me. I'm getting better with Dante's teleport, only need to learn to combo properly out of a teleport.

I still suck at this game though. =(
 
MvC3 GET! My copy from Capcom's store finally arrived today; so pumped!

I'll keep hope alive for the others who are waiting for Capcom to get their shit together. What a travesty of a delivery schedule.

It was certainly impressive, but by the end, it became sort of a joke. Justin did the exact same combo all night long and not a single person could do anything about it. Wolvie rushdown with Akuma assist leading to 100% Wolverine combos (non-X factored IIRC). It was rather gross. There were no answers. Advancing guard did nothing. I'm not even sure he lost a round (maybe one round).

I'm going to assume it was Akuma's overhead assist? He was just creating unblockable situations?
 
I picked up the last and final copy of the MvC3 stratedy guides my ebgames got today.
