lol yeah I've heard of him. Not sure how good he is at Brawl, but it's funny to see a Smasher playing Marvel.

Then again, I did enter a Marvel tourney last week and, while juggling Smash, didn't place last. I couldn't believe it myself.

Ok.

So I got really mad after 3 ranked matches in a row with a 4th lord using Sentinel and Wesker (Punched a hole in my closet door). I've lost all motivation to play. I don't know if it's lag or what but I can't seem to block anything and my combos constantly drop. It may be match pressure or something as well, but I'm just at a lost as to what to do in this game. I really like it and I love SF4/SSF4, but I just can't seem to grasp this game.

If someone would be willing to spar with me to help me learn the game I'd really appreciate it.

That might be the main problem. After one match, leave.
 
I know this has probably been said before, but I don't understand how Capcom dropped the ball with the online on this one. As far as I'm concerned, you take SSFIV, and you copy/paste it. Kicking me back to the main menu every time my search for a game sessions fails? Wow. I don't think I can do anything BUT fight request now because I'm so tired of the online play menu music loop.

I'm trying a Taskmaster/Dormaamu/Dr. Doom combination right now but it's not working too well. I love Dormaamu but the moves I love the most from him are quite impractical for the frenetic pace of fighting online.

As much as I hate the bland choice, it seems like Iron Man is going to be my team staple regardless as I just won three matches in a row and the only constant was Iron Man. I seem to kick a moderate amount of ass with him. I guess now I have to build a good team to support him.

I could see it. One thing Smash and Marvel have in common is that they emphasize positioning and spacial awareness, with extremely fast characters.

I think anger management would suit you better.
 
I purchased MvC:3 SE last week on launch day but didn’t have the time to try it out till Sunday. The last time I used my HRAP was over the summer so I was terrible. I played almost 2 hours and barely made it to the end boss after that couldn’t beat him.

Yesterday, I spent sometime on SRK going through their tutorial on the game. Today I came home from work and before dinner beat the game once and almost beat it again but I had to eat. It’s amazing how great the game is once you configure the buttons on your joystick to your preference and you read the guide.
