Then don't! Just play with your regular old controller. MvC3 only has 4 attack button so the only things you need to map to the triggers would be the 2 assists.

If you still feel unsure then look into these: MadCatz Fightpad

But if you're dead set on getting a stick then look into this: SFIV Fightstick SE
 
Just wondering, did Capcom remove Issun's in game banter? Remember hearing him talk in Ammy's reveal video, but not in any of the later gameplay vids.
 
Well I've been waiting for this game for like 5 years now...

I'm pretty excited. I owned MvC2 on DC, but only played local... basically myself =[.

So this is going be the first MvC game I ever get a chance to play against others. Large part of my hype is due to it including Dante, who is definitely going be on my Team.
 
My old team was guile, sentinel, jin

or magneto, doom, sentinel for the cheap asses.

Definitely going to miss Guile and Jin. MvC2 Guile was easily the best Guile iteration.
Looking forward to Dante the most. He'll be the first guy I try and learn for sure.

Same here. I still had a ton of fun with it on the DC back in the day.

It's good if you like to play that style, but I play all thumbs on the face. :P so ps3 controller works better for me, blame 10 years of guilty gear :P

There's a few, I don't think it's the actual character hitbox but it's the actual move. Try it with Sent's c.M

It'll whiff completely, but if you move half a step it magically covers the distance and connects. I'll try and find an example of it.
 
I wonder if they'll ever do a patch and bring Ryu back up to his TvC air dashes, dash cancels, and OH combos cause he looks even worse than Dan tier was in SF4.

It wasn't Issun, it was a female announcer who appeared in a few other trailers. She can be turned on or off in the final game.
 
Hell yeah! My character icons made it into the official thread! Glad I could help with those. Now onto the important matters...buying a fight pad, and commissioning a custom skinned hit box arcade pad for this thing on the 360...
 
Saw Markman post in here earlier with that awesome deal on sticks, but gotta ask; Why the hate on Canada? I want to buy those sticks Markman, why won't you send them to me =(
 
Is there any such thing as a high-quality arcade stick that doesn't go CLICK, CLACK, CLICK, CLACK everytime you hit a button or push on the stick? Like, one with a stick and buttons that don't make sounds at all?

I was just about to snag that Morrigan one, lol. No worries though, I have another that I'll use later on.

Having a friend who's crazy about this, I can't help but get hyped with him, haha.

I've never played any of the MvC games either.

Speaking of avatars, I will change mine as soon as Strider is announced and some official art/screen of him is shown.

Want to buy TvC to hold me over, but this would be such a waste with MvC3 so close. I'll probably just go buy MvC2, woot. ;)

yeah, american-style perfect 360 sticks. they were available on MAS sticks, or just build your own. as for the buttons, you can dampen any kind button with felt. but is it worth the trouble? I don't even notice the clickety clack anymore.

I know a workaround a lot of Canadians do is to have a friend from the USA order for them and you pay your buddy to do so. I know everyone doesn't have a friend in the states, but you're a part of Gaf and I bet someone in the buy/trade/sell thread would be more than willing to help you out.
