MvC newbie question again... What is the launcher button, where is it on a PS3 controller, when do you use it and how does it function? Is it a dedicated button for knocking people into the air or something?

X is Launcher. Hits people up in the air.

From OP:

Launchers and Air Combos - On the ground, neutral S is the universal launcher attack. After hitting with a launcher, hold up or up/forward to automatically super jump and try to continue the combo. While airborne, you can perform chain combos, specials/hypers (character dependent), and air tags, described below.

It's a Universal launcher. Previous games didn't have one of those so everyone had different launchers. If the PS3 pad is set up like I think it would, it probably would be X to launch. Something basic would be A, A, Down A, B, Down B, C, Launch, A,A,B,C XX super.

I suck at fighting games so i would probably play like him lol

It wasn't released by Capcom but it's up on youtube. It's the intro

Or one of the intros, im not quite sure when you see them.

Because that stage has loading issues on the leaked copy of the game that he's playing. Every time he gets there the game can't load it, and this time he just happened to get it first instead of a few matches in.
 
No way Phoneix is gonna be viable to play. A throw just did like 20%-30% damage. She's gonna need a seriously good assist to back her up/keep people out.

d phoenix + x factor seems to be complete domination even against a full team.
 
lol at the guy with the pirated copy. Capcom should figure out why it don't work and put it in all their games, and levels.

Sony blocked the DNS trick hackers used to get on PSN without current firmware. No way for people without the disk to play MVC3 online atm, and for those that could possibly cheat somehow with cfw.
