But if games came out on Fridays, then everyone getting them earlier than they are now would want you to move the release date to one earlier in the week, like Tuesday. And then you would hunger for Friday releases again. Eventually with the games coming out a week earlier and then a week earlier, games would just start being cancelled because they wouldn't be able to make the launch date of two weeks before the game gets announced.
